THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT DOES NOT HAVE EXCLUSIVE CONTROL OVER ILLEGAL

IMMIGRATION, WHEN THERE IS AN INVASION OF PEOPLE OVER OUR BORDERS

        The Supreme Court has now heard the famous Arizona case that permits the state to check the immigration status of persons in the state who violate their laws.  Based on the tone of the arguments and the questions asked and comments made by the justices of the court, I am assured the court will uphold this law, and others framed like it, soon.

 

        This law was passed in Arizona because the Federal Government has practically ignored the problem of a human invasion of our country by citizens of other countries which have put an undue financial and human burden on many Border States along the Mexican border.

 

         To fully understand this controversy, it is important to look at both sides of the question and a good hard look at the u s constitution where the government it possess exclusive power over immigration.  Article one, section 8, paragraph d entitled "powers granted to congress" reads, "to establish a uniform rule of naturalization---."    Paragraph 0 states, "to provide for calling forth the militia to execute the laws of the union, suppressinsurrectionsand repel invasions."

 

       At the same time, amendment 10 of the constitution states, "those powers not delegated to the U.S. by the constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or the people.

 

       In addition, article 4, section 4 of the U. S. constitution, entitled, "guarantees to the states." reads, "the U.S. shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government and shall protect each of them from invasion ----."  This is a guarantee which today is wholly lacking and based on the indisputable fact that thousands of persons are crossing our borders each year at will due to the lack of enforcement of this section alone.

 

       Also, article one, section 10 b. of the constitution entitled, "powers denied to the states, "provides, (no state shall) engage in war, unless actually invaded, or is in imminent danger as will not admit of delay."  Is there any doubt that Arizona is being invaded?

  

       Therefore, it is as plain as the nose on your face that this is an invasion of foreigners across our borders and not in any way related to the powers of the U. S. to "establish a uniform rule of immigration.  These laws are being flaunted and the U. S. government and they have passively permitted this invasion and resulting heavy burden, especially in the Border States.  Arizona not only has the right to repel this invasion, but a duty to its citizen to stop it in any reasonable way including a war.

 

       It is my belief that the Arizona law and many others like it will be upheld or changed to suit the need and eventually, it will be determined that states have an absolute right to protect their borders from the foreign invasion of anyone.

 

      The sad fact here is that we have a president who taught constitutional law in a university, who seems oblivious to the contents and meaning of the constitution he has sworn to uphold under his oath of office. 

I AGREE WITH PRESIDENT OBAMA'S STAND ON SAME SEX MARRIAGES

 

 

      As a lawyer and president, who swore to uphold and defend the constitution of the United States, president Obama was right on expressing his legal opinion that he was in favor of same sex marriages.    If anyone takes the time to read the U. S. constitution and the 14^th amendment, it should be clear that every citizen of this country has equal rights, whether they are male or female black or white.

 

      There is no question that president Obama, over the years has announced his different personal beliefs about these unions, but as president I believe he had no choice but to come down in support of the law of the land under the constitution all this, in spite of the obvious political advantages and disadvantages of different positions on this subject, as well as the abortion and contraceptive issues.

 

       As a Catholic and attorney, my religious beliefs are directly opposite to my duty to my country and profession, under the constitution.  Therefore just like president Obama, my personal beliefs must be set aside in favor of the law of my country as a person an attorney.

 

       The problem with the recent North Carolina vote to ban same sex marriages is that it is contra to the  U.S. constitution and will be struck down as illegal and an exercise in futility, since it amounts to another attempt by a minority to illegally force it's will upon the majority.

 

       I cannot quarrel with those who have other religious or private beliefs, as do I that traditionally marriage should be between a man and a woman and it makes sense to us to have some differential name, like, "a union between two persons of the same sex."   Unfortunately that, in and of itself, would be an act of discrimination against them and, unconstitutional as well.

 

       Of course, the proper method of bringing about a change in the U.S. constitution is by constitutional amendment.

   

       The sad fact is that, at present, the majority of American people are in favor of same sex marriages and the gaining of the equal rights, denied them to date and for the last 250 years.

BIN LADIN AS A REASON TO ADVERTISE FOR HIS

RE-ELECTION

President Obama has decided to use the killing of Osama bin laden

As a campaign reason for his re-election, while I wonder if he would

Have done so, if the mission was a failure as has much of his presidency.

 

First, as commander in chief he had a duty to seek out bin Ladin for

His responsibility for the 9/11 attacks on the trade center and pentagon.

It took almost six years of searching to find him over the span of two

Presidential administrations, and the mission was accomplished by a

Select team of navy seals, specially trained for this particular task.

 

If the mission had failed would we have conversely blamed the Navy                                                                                                                 

Seals for said failure?  Therefore, it is obvious that the main credit

for this success belong exclusively with the navy seals.

 

However, it is doubtful if these men will ever be publically recognized

for their spectacular efforts and success.  So why is president Obama

trying to steal this honor if the men themselves would prefer to

remain anonymous for their personal safety and that of their families.

 

 

NOW WE KNOW WHY THEY CALL THEM THE SECRET SERVICE

It is no secret that the secret service is charged with protecting the president of the United States and other important candidates and government officials.  The secret may relates to their action while they are not actually protecting these high officials, like acing like a bunch of sex crazed hound dogs.  It seems, sex is so important in their lives, they must have it whether they are home or on duty elsewhere.

The latest incident in Columbia raises the serious question of who is minding the store, to make sure they are doing the job they hired out and trained to do.   That incident in Columbia raises serious questions about their deportment and competency to serve and protect the president, at all times.  This is no part time job from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, when they are away from home, especially in a foreign country.  It is a 24 hour a day job they hired out to do and their deportment is most important when the threat of harm rises, when the president is schedule to be in a foreign country.  The threat of spies or assassins, infiltrating the security of the presidential security force is always also paramount and, cavorting with prostitutes reminds me of the actions of Marta Hari, during World War I.

That does not mean that the secret service agents must be as celibate as a catholic priest or married man, when they are on duty, but when they are out of town

They are on duty 24 hours a day.  When they act so callously as it is reported they did in Columbia, it is time to remind them there is no excuse for failure in this case, especially when nearly a score of them participated or attempted to cover up the incident.  All their superiors in charge, who were aware of the actions of his men had a duty to fire them all on the spot.  They have a duty to be vigilant at all times and know what the men are doing at all times.

In a way, it is fortunate that this lack of intelligence by these sex crazed men came to light before the president was harmed, but the "boss" puts himself in dire danger if he does not fire the whole incompetent bunch of "knuckleheads" he himself calls them. 

Then again, who knows, maybe they were sampling the merchandise for another reason that comes to mind with a president who can't seem to do anything right anytime anyway.

 

WHY WE HAVE A DISFUNCTIONAL CONGRESS

     The news press said it right in their editorial yesterday, when it listed the reasons why we have a dysfunctional congress. First the Republican and Democratic members, who should be compromising to get needed legislation passed, cannot because they are slaves to their party leaders who, in turn are slaves to the ideology of their party and the money paid them to do their bidding by lobbyists. This has been going on for years now, and it is getting worse, not better, in the face of an economic recession, high unemployment, a huge national debt and a ballooned budget no politician wants to correct.
 

     It will not be corrected by voting in one party member out for another, even if you have a majority in both houses of congress. Obama had a Democratic majority for his first two years in office. All he and his fellow Democrats did was ram through a stimulus package that provided no additional permanent jobs for the unemployed. Then he rammed a 21000 page Health Care Bill through his congress without anyone even reading it and when the Americans public received the detailed, they rightly wanted it repealed.

   

     All our congressmen and the president do the bidding of a very powerful group of lobbyists who control the vote of  most politicians with money for their political campaigns, which is not the needs or will of the American people they are elected to represent. 

     Until you have a Constitutional Amendment which allows only the American voter to give very limited contributions to a candidate or   politicians in office, nothing will change and the American people will continue to be the losers in every election, no matter who they vote for.

 

WHEN IT COMES TO OIL PRICES, MR PRESIDENT, THERE IS A SILVER BULLET

An open letter to president Barrack Obama,

     

Contrary to your recent remark that, when it comes to an easy answer to the rising prices of oil, there is no silver bullet, please stop trying to fool the American people, because none of us real, savvy Americans believe in you any longer.

What has happened to all the, "can do" assurances you gave us during your run for the presidency. You have come up lame on all your promises except those that help union members to the exclusion of the rest of us Americans who stupidly placed our faith and trust in you as our president. You could have been a hero, but instead, you are seen as a "bummer".

            Let me, a wise old man of 88 years, tell you about the gun you have to shoot the needed silver bullets:

1. Every American knows you and congress are greased with, "big money" from the oil producers to fuel your election and re-election, to do their bidding, which you have obediently done, every day during your ill fated term of office.
2. Every American knows we are in a declared state of war with Afghanistan, declared by congress, where the president has the power to control prices as president Roosevelt rightly did during W. W. II.  Please shoot that bullet! It is time that every individual business and individual sacrifice, work and fight for the victory in the field and at home economically, without profit, while only our servicemen have been paying for, alone, with their blood.   
3. You, as our president and the congress know full well, that our domestic oil, owned by us Americans is being sent to Asia from American shores, for profit to the American oil companies, while at the same time we import an equal amount of about 40% for our use, from an unstable region that they and American oil companies use as an excuse to raise price repeatedly. You and congress can fire the silver bullet to stop exporting our oil while being held hostage to the whim of the world oil companies and countries.  That is the answer to that threat, and you and congress know that better than I do.
4.  You and congress have allowed oil prices to double during the short three years of your term in office, while you both had the power but not the will, to do the right thing for the American people. As a result the higher trucking costs have raised prices on everything being sold here and the food we raise, while our wages remain stagnant and unemployment is twice what it should be while the economy suffers and the oil companies reap outrageous profits. Price controls would have softened that problem in the past and, will in the future, if you only will act, as you should to fire that silver bullet. Only the government should profit when we are at war, while every American should sacrifice until we have won the fight overseas and at home.
5. For the last three plus years you could have proposed real change in our dependence on oil by suggesting all the alternative energy sources be developed to the fullest, but instead you suggested meager and token  changes in the conservation of energy in public buildings you knew were a farce and of no appreciable help in this circumstance. You personally have lost three plus years in this alternative energy field that should have been accelerated, from the start of your term. If only it helped find needed jobs.
6.  You and both political parties have blown so much money in tax decreases, extended unemployment benefits, and so called stimulus packages and pork barrel bills; our government is now paying 50% of every dollar collected in taxes, just to pay interest in the debt. You, as president had the veto power to stop this raid on our treasury, but instead you encouraged it. Now the cupboard is bare to help the economy and further tax cuts should be out of the question. Everyone knows that more permanent jobs are the answer to our problems, yet you and congress do nothing to immediately help the jobs market. An accelerated alternative energy program should be our country's first priority, along with a permanent solution to the foreclosure problem and changing free trade to balanced trade to fix the economy permanently and return our industries back to the U. S. A.
7. Please take oil futures off the list in the stock market so no one, including the oil companies and banks will continue to push up the value of oil artificially, so they may selfishly profits in the futures market.        What has happened to the usual measure of prices based in supply and demand? If you shut down these gambling investments in the stock market completely, those gamblers might invest in the American businesses that need to be resurrected at this time to save our industrial and commercial capacity and our country from becoming only a service society.
8. Since all the oil and gas in the ground belongs to the American people and, their government, and most oil is controlled by the lease process, isn't it time to nationalize our oil and gas and all energy sources. We can control prices and profit like the oil companies do today, rather than giving out cheap leases and losing control of the oil and its prices. Shoot that silver bullet!        

Finally, everything you and congress have done for the past three plus years has been purely political for your respective parties, isn't it about time you started doing something constructive for the American people before you bankrupt and destroy our great country we handed you and congress to manage these last 25 years. If you think you will win re-election by default, you have again mistaken the will of the American people. It is not too late to fire those silver bullets instead of the blanks you have fired since you took office, with the failed hope and trust of the American people. Think permanent jobs, not welfare relief!!!  

The sad fact is, if you do not wake up to this reality now, you will in the November election, when it is too late. Please help your country, now!

 

THE REAL MEANING OF FLORIDA STATUTE 766,012 AND .013

THE SO CALLED, "STAND YOUR GROUND LAW"

When Trayvon Martin was shot dead by George Zimmerman last month, a storm of protest over the killing was raised by the black community and others over the real meaning of the "stand your ground" statue passed by Florida.

                   Florida statue 776.012 entitled "use of force on defense of person states in part, "a person is justified in the use of deadly force and does not have a duty to retreat if:

• d. He or she reasonably believes that such force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to him or another or to prevent the imminent commission of a forcible felony."

That part of the statute is clear, in that it allows a person to use deadly force, when they reasonable believes such conduct is necessary to defend themselves against another's imminent use of unlawful force to cause death or serious bodily harm in that instance, that person does not have a duty to retreat.  

           At this point of the statute, it is obvious that the use of that deadly force is available as a defense to the charge of murder or manslaughter and the person committing the death must use that defense in a court of law after he is arrested and charged with the death as enumerated above.

           Of course, the questions of what was "imminent fear of death" or "great bodily harm" and "reasonable force" or "justification to use deadly force" are questions for the judge or jury to decide as part of the judicial process at the trial of such a matter under this statute at this point of its written text.

           But the Florida legislators were not satisfied to stop there with this "stand your ground" legislation.  They added sub statute 776.013, which reads in part:

           776.013 subsection 1, a person is presumed to have held reasonable fear of imminent peril of death or great bodily harm to himself or herself, or another, when using defensive force that is intended or likely to cause death or great bodily harm to another, if: An unlawful and forcible entry into a dwelling, home, or occupied vehicle. (not applicable here,) and

                   b. Reason to believe that an unlawful forcible or unlawful act was occurring or had occurred (not applicable here, also).

                   Therefore, this presumption should not be available to Zimmerman because he is powerless to claim it under the only two section available under a and b, above.

          Subsection 2.  Reads:"The presumption set forth in subsection 1. Does not apply, if:

• a. That person had a right to be in or as a legal lawful resident of a dwelling residence or vehicle etc-------"
• b. That person to be sought to be retrieved is a child in the lawful custody of the person against whom lawful force is used.
• c. That person who uses defensive force is engaged in an unlawful activity or etc---"
• d. Is a law enforcement officer as defined in 943.10 (14).

Here, the question is raised under c, above, was Zimmerman engaged in an unlawful activity when he chased down Trayvon Martin, especially after the 911 operator at  the police station warned him not to pursue Trayvon.  If, indeed he, as a private citizen, stopped Trayvon and detained him he was violating the constitutional rights of Trayvon.  Therefore, under this subsection of the statute, this presumption should not be available to Zimmerman.  In addition, paragraph c may relate only to the situations listed under a and b above, which have no part to this matter between Martin and Zimmerman. 

Subsection 3. Reads, "a person who is not engaged in unlawful activity and is attacked in any place where she or she has a right to be has the right to stand his or her ground and meet force with force, including deadly force if he or she reasonably believes it is necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another, to prevent the commission of a forcible felony.

One difficulty with this section, among others, is what is meant by the word, "in."  To this point in the statute we have been directed to situations that may occur in dwelling and allied structures and occupied vehicles.  All contained places and not in an open outside space like a street or sidewalk, where this alleged deadly force occurred therefore the applicability of subsection 3 is put in serious doubt.

Secondly, since this is a separate section, another serious question arises as to the applicability of the presumption enumerated in subsection 1 above especially since this subsection specifically lists only the two situations listed hereunder as a and b.

    

Therefore, if the presumption fails under this statue this case should rise or fall on the self defense claims of Zimmerman as presented in court after his arrest and possible indictment for the admitted killing of Martin.

This subsection may equally apply to the rights of Trayvon Martin, as well as George Zimmerman based on the facts eventually found in this matter for example, if Zimmerman pulled his gun on Trayvon without cause, that would be an assault with a deadly weapon, the forcible felony, that would be the reason Trayvon, who was engaged in a lawful activity walking down a neighborhood street would be justified to use reasonable force to stand his ground in that event to attempt to prevent great bodily harm on himself.

      

Based in the wording and possible applicability of this statute in this case and the conflicting facts divulged over the last month is clear that justice in this case will never be served until George Zimmerman is arrested for this killing, the matter turned over to the grand jury for possible indictment and trial under the Florida court system, indictment and trial in the Florida court system.

In addition, I have serious misgivings about the constitutionality of this statute based on the grounds that it attempts to infringe on the exclusive right of the judiciary to handle all crimes especially, in this case of murder or manslaughter.  This statue seeks to avoid the action of the judiciary by placing the question of criminality for "stand your ground" action, exclusively in the hands of the executive branch of government, the police, in such a way, that, they are judge and jury under this statute.    

 

The Real Reason Why George Zimmerman Was Not Arrested

For the Killing of Trayvon Martin

           It has been a month since the killing of 17 year old, unarmed, Trayvon Martin a black boy, admittedly by George Zimmerman a white man, and as yet the Sanford Police have failed to do their duty to arrest Zimmerman for the death.  As they should, under the law, and the reason are obvious.  The Sanford Florida Police Department and its executive branch of the city are racists and deny blacks the civil rights they are entitled to under our United States Constitution.  If you take the time to read the 13^th, 14^th, 15^th and 24^th Amendments to our constitution, you realize the extent to which congress and previous presidents and states have gone through to ensure blacks have the same rights whites have enjoyed since it's founding in 1787.

          First the confederate states including Florida fought the Civil War between 1861 and 1865 to prevent blacks from receiving those rights, under President Lincoln's emancipation proclamation if 1863.

          In spite of the fact they lost that war, southern sympathizers plotted and killed President Lincoln in 1965, hoping to avoid the impact of Amendment 13, and then the 14^th Amendment of 1868, by establishing the plan of "separate but equal facilities in the south which was a sham and the cruel treatment of the blacks to avoid treatment blacks as equal any and every way.

    

        The problem for the next one hundred years is that this inhuman tactic and treatment only cause the blacks more suffering and derivation if rights through World War I and II, where this deprivation was shamefully exposed in the armed forces, barring blacks from serving side by side with their white brothers in battle for the continued freedom of the whites only.

  

          All this tragedy ended when President Harry Truman (Term of Office: April 12, 1945 - January 20, 1953) recognized the invaluable service of the black in these two wars and by executive order integrated the armed forces to the chagrin of the southern states still stuck in the separate but equal farce to continue to subjugate blacks.

          Finally, it took the peaceful protests of Martin Luther King, Jr. and the brave action of thousands of black protest marchers in the south to bring the end of segregation in the south on buses public facilities and schools with the passage of the civil rights amendment of 1964 thanks also to the efforts of Presidents Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson.

          Now more than 150 years after the emancipation proclamation, the U. S. Government brought the full force of the government to bear to finally enforce the rights of the blacks to be free and equal.  Yet, those actions do not necessarily change the feelings of many stubborn white people in the south or elsewhere.  And that prejudice has surfaced and shown its ugly face too often in the last fifty years to be ignored, while in every instance it must be stamped out and not allowed to deprive blacks or any American citizen of their constitutional rights.

          This Martin Zimmerman case is just another example of this stubborn refusal by some whites to treat blacks as equals under the law as they deserve to be treated.  This fault does not necessarily lie with George Zimmerman, but primarily with the city of Sanford Police Department and the executive department of the City of Sanford.

You do not need to be a lawyer to know and understand the wording of the U. S. Constitution.  A simple reading of the constitution clearly sets out the duties and responsibilities of the three branches of government, the legislative, executive and judicial branches each of which have exclusive jurisdiction of their branch.  The legislative branch has exclusive jurisdiction to pass all laws.    The executive branch which includes the police department of every city executes the laws by their enforcement.    Lastly, the judicial branch has the exclusive right to prosecute those who disobey the laws.

   

          It is the duty of every police force, as part of the executive branch to apprehend and sight or arrest each violator of its laws.  In this case since Zimmerman, a civilian neighborhood watch man, that he shot and killed Trayvon Martin.  Therefore, Zimmerman should have been arrested on the spot.  Instead the police department came to the judgment that the killing was justified under the self-defense/stand your ground law.  In this case, the Sanford Police Chief has failed to do his duty.

 

THE TRAGEDY AND LACK OF JUSTICE AT SANFORD, FLORIDA

          The many states, who have adopted the "stands your ground" law, are sure to regret it, if more vigilante killings occur.

No one really knows what happened between 17 year old Trayvon Martin and 28 year old neighborhood watch captain, George Zimmerman, but one fact is clear, a young boy out shopping for candy for his infant brother and iced tea for himself is dead at the hands of a mature adult civilian claiming justification, under Florida's "stand your ground law.

  

      Another troubling fact is that young Trayvon was walking through the neighborhood, and breaking no laws.  For some reason Zimmerman, a wanna-be police officer decided to confront him and chased him down the street to ask, "What are you doing in this neighborhood?  He certainly would not have done that if Trayvon was white.  Which gives it overtones of racism    he called police to report that Tayvon was acting suspiciously, but did not explain why he had come to this conclusion?  At this point the police specifically instructed him not to pursue, Trayvon, since it was obvious there was no probable cause of a crime being committed to warrant a private citizen to stop a pedestrian walking the streets of Sanford, Florida.

          Zimmerman did not heed the instructions of the police department and continued to pursue Trayvon and confront him with the statement, "Why are you in this neighborhood?"  That statement, alone, gives rise for Zimmerman's actions.  A black man walking in his white majority   neighborhood watch was unusual for a gun toting overly zealous wanna-be police officer.  Zimmerman knew he had no right to pursue and/or stop Trayvon, but he did it anyway against the advice of the police he called for advice.  If he had not done so, Trayvon, would, in all probability be alive today.  All we know, at the present time, is a confrontation occurred that ended the young life of Trayvon with a gunshot to his head by Zimmerman a much larger, stronger and experienced would-be policeman.

Now, the Sanford Florida police say there was no probable cause to arrest Zimmerman because of the, "stand your ground defense law." offered.     In reality whatever merit exists in such a law, it seems to me, exists only as a defense to the charge of manslaughter or murder.  The fact is that Zimmerman pursued Trayvon invited and caused the confrontation, this act obviates the "stand your ground," defense and should put Zimmerman, a civilian, to the task of defending his actions.  Otherwise, in such cases the American public is exposed to vigilante action and the public put to the burden of disproving justification in a death action.  The only exception to charging a person for such a crime occurs when a police officer commits an otherwise criminal offence, justified in his line of duty.

   

Therefore, in this matter, it is obvious to everyone, except the Sanford police department, that justice in this action will never be had unless and until Mr. Zimmerman is indicted for this crime of death so that a judge and jury may be given the sole opportunity to find the true facts and decide this case on the facts as found by them and not the police department of Sanford, acting on this case as judge and jury, instead no such law as, "stand your ground", should ever be used as a substitute for our tried and true justice system.

  

          A private citizen, who takes the law into his own hands as, George Zimmerman, did and kills someone, even in and alleged act of self defense   must answer to the charges in court to defend and justify his actions in a court of law.

          It is time for our state attorney general to take charge of this matter so justice will be served and not denied, separate and apart of the question of whether Zimmerman's actions were racially motivated.

 

PRESIDENT OBAMA STEPPED INTO A STORM OF CONTROVERSY OVER CONTRACEPTIONS

AND CAME OUT OF IT WITH THE A SOLID VOTE FOR

HIS RE-ELECTION FROM WOMEN

           When president Obama announced, recently, that religious employers, regardless of their beliefs, were required to provide women with contraception devices, free, he started a storm of controversy that is still raging across the country.

            First, the powerful and influential religious employers themselves, kicked up such a storm, he quickly amended the order to a directive to insurance companies to do so, instead.  This action by the president intensified the problem since there was not that much difference in the end result, they were either personally forced to buy this coverage or had to buy it from insurance companies that provided it.  The publicity inflated the problem like a balloon and kept it in the news daily, resulting in public hearings in congress, over the matter, but women were excluded from testifying on the matter.  This exclusion, caught the attention of a sharp woman legislator, whose comments inflamed women to action, the like of which we haven't seen since the women's suffrage demonstrations which ended with the adoption of the 19^th Amendment in 1920, giving women the right to vote for the first time.

          A courageous woman, a student at a local college, was finally allowed to testify in favor of the inclusion of the provision to provide free contraception in insurance policies by insurers and that woman was set upon and called a "slut and prostitute." by many abortion objectors especially radio commentator, Rush Limbaugh, whose choice of language shocked women and men alike, by its crudeness and his poison tongue.

          Everyone knows or should know, that contraception control devices, such as the morning after pill have been a boom to women for decades.  Whereas, women were left to the desires of men when pregnancies occur, now they could protect their bodies from unwanted pregnancies that affect the health and safety of women, their financial burden on families and the steady influx of unwanted and unneeded babies into this world and the financial and social burden on the communities.  The majority of women use these contraception's wisely and successfully, and they have become a way of life eliminating the fear, shame, and economic problem of pregnancies to women their mates and families.     Whereas, men were the mere instruments of pregnancies women were now free to enjoy a sex life, also, without fear of the consequences, a pregnancy.

       The problem of contraception arose because of the religious beliefs and teachings of most places of worship.  Under our constitution, the very first amendment, successfully addressed the question of church and state by specifically divided and segregating the two from each other's control or interference.  President Obama knew his actions would fly in the face of the religious beliefs of many, if not most of his countrymen, but he insisted in publically announcing his controversial order of inclusion, instead of just letting it happen when the time came for it under his universal health plan as passed.  That decision, smacks of a conscious attempt to inflame the public while cementing his appeal to most women when the vote for his re-election occurs next November.  Of course, if this controversy came about by happenstance, he is the luckiest candidate in the field.

Conversely, candidates Rick Santorum and Mitt Romney, stuck to their anti abortion, anti contraception beliefs and that of the Christian coalition which unfortunately mean they will suffer the loss of the support of most women because of this issue.  This is what happens to candidates who place religion before the U.S. Constitution.    Religions may set the standard for the women in their congregation or religion, but not on the American female citizen, since the U.S. Constitution forbids it the issue of when conception begins is a religious one, not a constitutional one, due to the first amendment.  These are all social issues that have no place in government.

  

          But women should take a long and hard look at this issue and should decide on voting for the best candidate who can really and finally do something about the ever sagging economy and unemployment problems that president Obama has, for one reason or another, failed to address and resolve for most of his term of office as matters worsened, although he had promised to correct them.  He has been a dismal failure for his first term.  The first two years he had a majority of support in a democratic congress, yet, if he helped anyone, it was only the union members and not the American people, as a whole.  People do not need unemployment benefits; they need jobs because the economy cannot recover without full employment; lower taxes will never produce jobs and never had.  Look at what happened for the last eleven years with the huge tax break for the rich. Nothing, not one job produced.

   

The American people were fooled once by a war president Bush who added seven trillion dollars to our national debt while re-electing him to continue the wars and deepen the debt.  Then they turned to a sweet talking carnival barker, Obama, as the savior to our national problems.  He promised to fix everything overnight, but has disappointed every American, but the rich since the problems have magnified and we are left high and dry with five trillion dollars more in needless national debt and no plan for recovery, but more empty promises he and congress cannot hope to meet.

 

WHY ARE THE REPUBLICAN HANDING OBAMA A FREE RIDE

TO HIS RE-ELECTION?

      Today is Super Tuesday and all the hoopla between the republican candidates for president does not take away from republican candidate's inability to fire up their own troops to the fight needed to have a republican president to replace the failing and lost Obama.

      Since this contest to select and anoint the best candidate began, six months ago, each one of the nine original hopefuls have had their, "day in the sun" and each has failed to win the support of a majority of the republican party and those voters, Democrats and Independents, alike, allowed to vote in the republican primaries.  It was quite obvious from the beginning that, Mitt Romney, a close challenger in the last presidential campaign has, for the last four years worked hard to attract the grass root support needed to win.  His easy access to the necessary money funding to such a campaign was not lacking and the polls have shown the result of that long and arduous task in an attempt to win the nomination of his party and the presidency next November.  Suddenly the southern Christian coalition, and many tea party members exposed their opposition to Mitt Romney mostly because he is a Mormon and claims he is not a Christian and therefore, unfit to be, "their president" as a result, they have shown a desperate attempt to anoint one candidate, then another in a futile attempt to replace Mitt Romney as the front runner, to the point Mitt Romney cannot be denied the nomination as the republican standard bearer, but at the cost of the unity of the party which is necessary to win in November.

     Whereas, the economy should be the important first issue in this campaign, the far right has made religion in government their prime issue, even though our founding fathers and the constitution they framed for us, specifically separates religion from the government.  These religious fanatics remind me of the Muslim die hards who for the last two thousand years steadfastly hate the Jewish people, the fact that they were given a country after their near extinction at the hands of Hitler and Russia during world WWII.  And have vowed, like their ancestors, to wipe Israel off the face of this earth, along with the English, French and Americans, who have supported and helped in the establishment of a permanent home for the Jews in Israel.

     This battle in the Middle East has gone on for about 65 years and will never end until one side or the other is totally beaten and eliminated.  This is the reason why Christians and Jews are hated amongst the Muslims and always will be, as this hate is handed down from father to son from one generation to another for the last two thousand years.

     What we have now, in America, like the fanatical Muslims, is a coalition of die hard southern Baptists who have hated blacks, and the Catholics and Jews who have supported them since the Civil War in the United States.  For one hundred years, since 1865, they have successfully subjugated them everywhere in the south until the Civil Rights Act of 1964 with the help of President John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson and Martin Luther King, Jr., they have hated the republicans like President Abraham Lincoln for freeing the slaves and as a protest turned into Democrats for a hundred years, then turned Republican again as a protest against the Democratic administrations of Kennedy and Johnson.  They have been a thorn in the side of real republicans and a curse to good republican they have used the teaching of the bible as a weapon and excuse to be against the government, instead of using it, as most Christians do, as a lesson of the love for Christianity and preparation for the hereafter in heaven in peace and tranquility.  In conclusion, they are a cancer on the body of the Republican Party and must be rejected and removed to save the patient.

     Fortunately in spite of all this hate, poison and their hypocritical actions for the last 150 years, we have survived, while they continue to lose favor and remain in the minority, and cast aside and shunned by decent Republicans and people in general.

     You can be assured, the Mitt Romney a decent American and winnable candidate for the office of the presidency, will win the nomination in spite of these renegade so called Christians in the devil's clothing.  And also win the presidency in November's election, contrary to the actions of the southern coalition of hypocrites who are succeeding in helping President Obama's re-election, by their action, instead. 

 

WHY ISN'T THE UNITED STATES SERIOUS ABOUT THE PROBLEM IN SYRIA?

       With the civil war in Syria entering its second year and with the government indiscriminately bombing cities and killing innocent men, women and children by the thousands why haven't we provided any, military or humanitarian help to these innocent victims of a dictator bent on crushing all opposition for his own personal gain?  Its leader, Assad and his father have been controlling this country for 40 or more years, with an iron fist, with little or no freedom or rights for their people.  This is a situation not different than what our forefathers faced in 1776, when the people rose up after years of taxes without representation and abuse by the English king and crown, if it had not been for the aid of France and Lafayette, we may not have won the freedom we enjoy today.  Therefore, our country run by the people and, the example of freedom for it's  people, have done nothing but give lip service to the people of Syria and even, attempted to get help from the United Nations has failed due to the veto power of China and Russia, prime example of dictatorship for the last 100 years.

   

       It is easy for us Americans to say, "we have our own problems, "we are tired of wars" and "we are nearly bankrupt and have no money to help them."  But these are all empty excuses that fail to help the people of that country who are fighting for their freedom from oppression.

       The least the United States can do is to provide these freedom fighters with the tools, guns, ammunition, planes and all the necessary weapons to combat the government and stop the bloodshed.  We should allow volunteers to join the fight for freedom every person on this earth should have as an "inalienable right".  We have a duty to do this as free people, we must help everyone who is being suppressed and denied the right to be free and to govern themselves as free people.

    

       The members of the United Nations should act in spite of the veto of two communistic countries who would deny their people the freedom; they are entitled to as human beings.  Now is the time for free people to come to the aid of their brothers and sisters.

   

       If the United States and other concerned countries do not do this, they may as well lose their freedom, if at times they do not stand up and fight to keep their freedom and also fight for the freedom of others as others have fought in the past for our freedom.  The United States as a leader of the world must display it's leadership when and where people of the world demand the freedom they are entitled to.

       As a veteran of World War II, and now 88 years old, let me be the first American to volunteer to fight for the freedom of our brothers and sisters, the Syrian people.  Who amongst you will join me?         

 

BIG MONEY POLITICAL CONTRIBUTIONS CONTROL POLITICIAN'S VOTES

      It is obvious that both political parties and their candidates for political office this year will raise more than two billion dollars in campaign contributions in addition to the billion dollars raised and spent by the PAC groups to influence the elections and the votes of their favorite political candidates.  To say that this huge amount of money does not influence their votes is a fantasy and a tragedy.

     Big business and large corporations are free to win their way and influence with our elected officials in Washington every year with huge contributions that cannot be matched by the ordinary citizen, whom the politicians are supposed to represent.

     This practice has become so common and blatant, these days; Washington is flooded with lobbyists who literally roam the halls of congress and the White House in numbers far exceeding our elected officials themselves.

     The drug companies have managed to price their drugs in America, at twice the price they sell them worldwide, while using the excess profits to influence our politicians to keep the status quo and high prices.

     The oil companies, both foreign and domestic, manage to obtain bargain basement leases of American land and offshore drilling sites, while our elected officials vote them tax breaks and other concessions while allowing them to rape the consumer with ridiculously high gas and heating oil prices and huge profits, at their whim.  The oil and gas companies pay our political leaders to prevent the development of alternative energy so they may enjoy the monopoly in the energy field.  Did you know that just as much oil produced here in the USA is being exported by our oil companies than we import from the Arabs in the Middle East, every year?  The development of alternative energy will help the return of our sagging economy with it's permanent employment.  If that oil is kept here the prices will stabilize since they would not be threatened, even if price controls need to be established.  Price controls on domestic oil can increase the tax in oil and help rebuild the nation roads and bridges, neglected over the years.

     Big manufacturing businesses have managed to have our representatives pass free trade laws which allow credits, tax breaks and concessions to them to locate overseas in search of cheaper labor costs and higher profits.  The electronic firm, Apple is the prime example of this tragedy and outsourcing is the principle cause of our ten percent unemployment figure.  Soon, nothing will be manufactured in the USA.  We need balanced trade laws to restart our industries here in the USA.  Fifty percent of our unemployment can be traced to losing jobs to outsourcing.

  

     The nation's banks, lending institutions and Wall Street stock marketers have turned the mortgage market upside down with huge continuing losses in the real estate market       when the crash came in 2007, President Bush and President Obama rushed in to save their pet contributors, with nearly a billion dollars of American taxpayers money while hanging the home owner and tax payer out to dry.  This shut down the construction industry which amounts to twenty five of our unemployed today, with no hope for jobs until the mortgage and real estate markets stabilizes.

    We need to reform our tax laws to prevent playing favorites for any American.  Capital gains should be set at the same rate as earned income to stop this wild run on stock market investments and return these investments to American businesses that operate exclusively in the USA.  Business profits then can be reduced to fifteen percent.

    We also need price control laws in the USA to prevent excess profiteering in these hard times, for the unemployed and elderly on fixed incomes.  We need to "fix" our Welfare and Medicare laws to have every recipient work in a work fare program in public jobs locally to help pay their keep and care.

    We need to balance our yearly budget by law, and reduce the national debt by reducing the size of government by ten percent in each of the next five years.  That will reduce our debt each year until it is paid off in ten years.

      

    We need to revamp our present Social Security system to include only people who contribute to it, so that the government pays them their money back upon retirement with added accumulated interest when they retire while helping support their government.  This system should replace all IRA's and Keogh plans.  Government employees and elected officials should have the same right, no more or less than the American people.  This would end the money problems with the Social Security system, once and for all time.

    The government should stay out of the health care business and let the American people handle it.  This will stabilize the prices and stop all the present fraud and cost of another government wasteful program.

    What we need is a law or Constitutional Amendment that gives only the American voter the right to contribute limited amounts to office holders and candidates for election.    That is the only way to stop this poisonous influence on our public officials, so they can concentrate on representing the American people who they should represent exclusively in the first place.  Labor unions must be banned from government employment as a monopoly which prevent the government to control it's own employees.  Unions should never be allowed to monopolize public employment.

 

PRESIDENT OBAMA'S PROPOSED BUDGET FOR 2013

       When president Obama ran for office, he promised to balance the national budget by the end of his term.  His announced plan for the 2013 budget is still 1.3 trillion dollars over budget income, which means, according to his own estimate that the national debt in ten years will reach about 20 trillion dollars or two and a half what it was when he took office.  In addition, the tragedy is that 50% of all the revenue the government takes in at that time will be spent on the cost of interest paid so it will take twice as much revenue as it did in the year 2000 to run the country, just twelve years ago.  One third of his budget is in the red, 1.3 trillion dollars and maybe more if the income goes down.

      President Bush and the republican congress, at the time, gave the millionaires a trillion dollar tax cut they did not need, while running two unnecessary wars that have cost us a deficit in his eight years of five trillion dollars.  While revenue dropped by a trillion dollars due to the tax cut his tax cut was supposed to jump start jobs and the economy but the economy worsened and the unemployment figures doubled under Obama, as a result.  It is a fact that tax cuts for the rich do not provide the needed jobs for the unemployed.     We need to stop the foreclosures and bring back our manufacturing base we have lost overseas.

   

      President Obama had the chance to reduce this loss of income by letting the rich man's tax cut lapse at the end of 2011, but he sold out to political pressure and agreed to let congress extended it for another year.  For a one year extension of the unemployment benefits, this money should have been used to find jobs instead of prolonging the unemployment problem.

      Not only has Obama failed to keep his promises, as usual, he has continued to increase the budget deficit for the next ten years without any hope to get any revenue bills through the republican house of representatives and he knows that.

      Obama's actions are purely political, he has deliberately allowed this 1.2 deficit to continue by reducing the national budget only $400 trillion dollars, most of it trimmed from the military leaving it shorthanded in this time of danger, while laying off the military men and women and making them unemployed at the wrong time since jobs are hard to get these days.

      All this is fiscal insanity and what are needed is the American people to rise up and demand a balanced budget for 2013 and every year henceforth.  We need a constitutional amendment to make sure future budgets will be balanced.  To do this today, is a bitter pill to swallow, meaning one third of the proposed budget must be cut unless taxes are raised somewhere or money is saved elsewhere in the budget.  Of course the democrats want the rich tax cut to end while the republicans want Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security benefit cuts, instead.  My guess is that neither of the plans will be agreed on and the budget deficit will continue into 2013, while the economy and foreclosures gets worse and unemployment remain at 10%, and not the reduced figure put out by Obama's jugglers.  It sounds like a circus, doesn't it, but the American people are all paying the cost every single day.  We voted for Obama for "change" and we received "change" but not for the good but the worse change possible.  It is time to clean up Washington by failing to re-elect anyone in Washington, if you want the change that is critically needed in 2013 and the future.  

   

VALENTINE'S DAY 2012

     Valentine's Day is especially set-aside for everyone to express their affection and care for each other?

     This custom is said to have been started in England more than one hundred years ago, when the English first learned to write.

     Most people could not afford to buy paper.  So they would write on each other.  This is how the practice of tattooing was started, but that's another story.  English sailors would tattoo their girlfriend's names on their arms and bodies, until they ran afoul with the other girlfriend's in every port they visited, so the custom soon faded into tattoos without names.  This was because the English ruled the waves, worldwide for many years and had girlfriends in every port to keep them company.

     Soon they started a new fad of writing on their T-shirts.  They would write their "Be My Valentine" message around big red hearts over the location of their hearts, so their hearts could be close to each other.

  

     Then, their children at every port, ever emulating their Dad's, began writing Valentine cards to each of their classmates at school, so girls and boys could flirt with each other, their teacher, Mrs. Hallmark encouraged the children to continue and expand this practice as a way of children learning to write and express themselves.  This innocent gesture was a prelude to the practice of enamored young people to pass love notes to each other under their desks.  As these children grew up, this practice spread to the sending greeting cards to each other and members of their family.  At first, these notes and cards were handmade and hand written.

     Mrs. Hallmark's husband seized this new fad as an opportunity to make a few shillings or English pounds, so he started a greeting card company aptly named "Hallmark Greeting Card Company."

     Mrs. Hallmark, Mr. Hallmark's silent partner, soon learned how important it was to teach each child how to read and write so they could continue to send cards to each other.  Now, though, as a labor saving devise she convinced the kids, that "if they cared enough, to send the very best" they should send a Hallmark Card each time, on such occasions.  Now, it was not necessary to cut out Cupids or cut hearts from a red sheet of paper or to labor over a line of poetry.

     It has been said, although never proven, that Mr. Hallmark hired lobbyists in England to lobby members of the House of Lords and the House of Commons to increase the number of State Holidays celebrated each year so there would be more occasions and reasons to send more cards.  This practice soon spread to the U.S.A. and too many other countries, especially to Italy where they celebrate more than 88 national paid holidays each year.  When you add Saturdays and Sundays you soon realize the Italians have 192 days off each year not counting special days off from work to celebrate the birthdays of each member of their family plus the Patron Saints Day of their home town (ex. St. Vincent is the Patron Saint of Tripi, Sicily).  This is also said to be the reason why Italians have such large families, they spend more time at home than at work.

     So, what began innocently, as a way for children to display a little affection for each other, became a huge commercial business for profit.

The business put hundreds of poets to work composing cute poems and verses every day.  Paper manufacturers and printers found work and profit.  Factories had to be built to handle the demand for these cards, which also made work for thousands of construction workers, engineers and architects.

Soon England experienced an industrial revolution which spread to America, and then to Japan and China, where it is in full bloom today, providing work for people who cannot speak or write English.  This is a complete turnaround because of competition and NAFCA.  Soon we English speaking people must learn Chinese in order to read the cards made in China.
 

     The invention of the ballpoint pen by Mr. Ball and Mr. Pen and their mass production caused such a reduction in the scrivener's tool price that anyone could afford to write, if they can only learn to read Chinese. 

The demand for paper caused such an increase in volume of production that prices dropped dramatically.  Now, all the paper being made in Canada, because our softwood forests have been denuded because of the demand for paper and land to build homes for the baby boomers.

     All this has happened thanks to this Valentine's Day tradition.

So, when people try to tell you that Valentine's Day was named after, Rudolf Valentine, the great Italian lover of the silent screen of the 1920's, don't believe it, because you now know that Mr. and Mrs. Hallmark really started Valentine's Day.

The 26 Billion Dollar Sellout of the American People By

      The recent settlement by the Obama administration, with the big banks in the U.S., because of the mortgage boondoggle, is a sellout of those homeowner victims of the banks' actions in granting the loans and their foreclosure and a clear violation of the 14^th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.  Here is a president, who taught constitutional law as a professor in college and a congress doing everything to protect their bosom banks buddies, some of the biggest annual contributors to the democrat and republican members and their party's, at the expense of the rights of the American people.

      The 14^th amendment reads, in part, "...nor any state (or the U. S. Government)) deprive any persons of life, liberty or property, without due process of law..."

Here the government with the help and agreement of the states, except one, Oklahoma, has worked out a deal to further protect the banks from l liability.  This may clear the dockets of illegal or improper foreclosures but also absolves those banks and lending institutions of civil liability for the bad loans and subsequent foreclosures they have made since the law was passed to allow trading on the world wide stock markets or mortgages at the same time it takes away the rights of individual homeowners, to seek redress in the civil courts which, admittedly would tie up the courts even more than the foreclosures have been, for years in litigation, where the bank's dirty laundry will certainly be exposed for all to see.  When you look at the monetary settlement of 25 billion dollars it sounds high but when you see the amount of the individual owner's recovery it is a pittance of their loss.  When measured against the 800 billion dollar bank bailout of 2008, by republican president Bush, it is nothing more than a sham and yellow piss hole in the snow, which has no substance, since the 800 billion dollar bailout should have be used in it's entirely to resolve the mortgage problem alone.  Not for bonuses for CEO's.

      Are you surprised that congress and the president, who have not agreed on anything this last 14 months would agree it such an odd arrangement, you must consider that it is an election year and with congress' and the president's popularity at it's lowest point ever, they are trying to make it look like they are doing something for the people, when, in truth, they are letting these banks and lending institutions off the liability hook for, "good old hard cash for their re-elections".

      In all probability this matter will be fought out in the courts with a final decision not made by the courts until well after the election of 2012, long after congress and president Obama have hoodwinked those poor suffering victims of foreclosure and bad loans approved by the banks, who had the last clear chance to deny them, but didn't.  Expect no republicans to complain about this sweetheart deal.  For them and the banks and don't expect any criminal liability suits which should be the first priority of every state and the Obama administration.

      This is just another sellout of the American people and a travesty of justice, by congress and the president who act in their interest only and not in the interest of the American people, they are bound by law to represent, but never do.

"I DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE POOR,
THEY HAVE A SAFETY NET"

      This unfortunate remark by Mitt Romney may cost him his election as president of the United States in 2012.  When he spoke these words, in an interview recently, and added he added "If the safety net needs more, we will fix that!"  He automatically raised a lot of questions about his feelings for the poor, especially for his opponents, the democrats.  In addition, even though he tried to correct that statement by saying,"I misspoke,"    questions still remain about what his intentions are about the plight of many "poor Americans".  Where I come from, most of us were poor in the, 1930's, during the great depression, and for many years we struggled to lift ourselves above the poverty level, simply because it feels shameful to be poor and unable to provide your family with the necessities of life.

   

      So the question is, does Romney really care about improving the plight of the poor, or is he content to keep them in poverty with public help alone.  What he should have said was that he would work to help every American from the poor to the rich, as is his duty as president to represent and help all Americans.  His first priority should be to help everyone especially the poor and unemployed, to find ways to raise them from the poverty level they find themselves, to find them jobs where possible to give them and all Americans their self respect and independence from want, charity and the public dole when possible, for every American.

     Next, he says he wants to help the middle class but he does not lay out a plan to do this.  After three years of a president Obama who has not had a definitive plan to help the middle class in any permanent way, most Americans are disgusted and disillusioned with their president and doubt every presidential candidate who hopes to replace him.  Why should we trust another presidential candidate even though we don't trust, Obama, anymore?  The American people cannot afford to replace our president with the lesser of two evils as has been the case for years now.  It is time for these wishful candidates to put their plans on the table for all to judge and approve or reject.  Slogans, like a flat tax sound good but with nearly ten percent unemployment, that employment problem, when solved, will fix the economy automatically.  A flat tax for the unemployed is of no help to feed their families.  Promises to cut the budget or reduce the debt don't help the unemployed either.  Where is the candidate's solution to the unemployment problem which is urgent and in need of immediate help?

   

      The next critical problem is the mortgage foreclosures, which have lasted five years and still continue without abatement or solution.  For the last three years Obama has been unable to come up with a plan to help the mortgage problem which continues to depress all real estate values nationwide, while construction of new home is dead in the water because foreclosed homes can be purchased for half the cost of new homes.  The foreclosure problem must be solved immediately to stabilize the economy and the mortgage and bank industry since it prevents the return of the construction industry which accounts for 25% of the jobless today.

      Yes, Mr. Romney, you need to address these problems, head on, before the American people will put their faith and trust in you or any of the other candidates for the office of the presidency of the United States.

We were fooled by sweet talking Obama, once and will not be fooled again.

      WITH THREE STATE WINS OUT OF FIVE, GOVERNOR MITT ROMNEY HAS THE REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATION UNDER HIS BELT.  THE CANDIDATE NO ONE SEEMS TO LIKE, WHO SOME CALL TOO RICH AND DULL AND NOT A CHRISTIAN, HAS MADE A STRONG AND LASTING IMPRESSION ON THE VOTERS OF NEW HAMPSHIRE, FLORIDA AND NEVADA, AND HE WILL ROLL TO VICTORY IN NOVEMBER.  ROMNEY HAS PROVEN HIMSELF THE BETTER OF THE NINE CANDIDATES IN THE ORIGINAL FIELD.  HE HAS THE FIGHTING SPIRIT, SUPPORT AND STYLE  TO BEAT  BARACK  OBAMA, WHO HAS NOT ONLY FAILED TO KEEP HIS PROMISES, HE HAS MADE EVERYTHING WORSE FOR THE COUNTRY  IN HIS INTENTION TO HELP ONLY UNION MEMBERS.

     POLITICS, HAS ALWAYS BEEN A DIRTY GAME AND THIS YEAR TOPS THEM ALL, BECAUSE OF THE NEGATIVE PAC ADS.  MONEY SEEMS TO RULE POLITICS WITH EACH PARTY SEEKING CONTROL OF THE ACTIONS OF EACH PRESIDENTIAL ADMINISTRATIONS AND CONGRESS.  IT IS A KNOWN FACT THAT MONEY INFLUENCES THE VOTES OF MEMBERS OF CONGRESS AND THE ACTIONS OF EVERY PRESIDENT IN RECENT TIMES.  THIS CORRUPT SYSTEM IS PROVEN TO BE WORKING IN FAVOR OF THE CORRUPTORS SINCE MORE AND MORE MONEY IS POURED INTO THE POLITICAL COFFERS EACH YEAR.  THE RESULTS ARE THAT CONGRESS AND EACH PRESIDENT HAS DONE THE BIDDING OF THE POLITICAL CONTRIBUTORS, BIG BUSINESS AND LABOR UNIONS AND NOT THE NEEDS AND WISHES OF ALL THE AMERICAN PEOPLE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO REPRESENT.

     THIS IS THE VERY REASON WE ARE IN A DEEP RECESSION FOR THE LAST FIVE YEARS WITH NO HOPE TO EXTRACATE OURSELVES FROM THIS BAD ECONOMIC TIME WITH HIGH UNEMPLOYMENT.  BIG BUSINESS REPUBLICANS HAVE PURCHASED THE FREE TRADE ACT SO THEY CAN SHIP ALL THEIR JOBS TO CHINA AND OTHER COUNTRIES WITH LOW WAGES TO ESCAPE THE PRESSURE OF THE AMERICAN LABOR UNIONS BACKED BY THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY.  OBAMA A DEMOCRAT AND EACH DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS HELP THE UNION BOSSES AND WORKERS IN ORDER TO KEEP THE VOTE OF UNION MEMBERS AND THE MONEY CONTRIBUTIONS OF LABOR UNIONS NEITHER PARTY CARES ABOUT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WHO ARE THE MIDDLE CLASS WHO ARE EITHER  SELF EMPLOYED OR NON UNION MEMBERS, AND AS A RESULT ARE THE FORGOTTEN AND SHUNNED MIDDLE CLASS AMERICANS, LEFT OUT IN THE COLD BY THEIR ELECTED OFFICIALS.

     THUS, THE ROTTEN PART OF POLITICS IS THE POLITICAL PARTIES WHO CONTROL EACH PARTY MEMBER WITH MONEY AND INTIMIDATION.  THEY CONSTANTLY VOTE IN LOCKSTEP, THE NORM AND RULE IN CONGRESS WITH NO PROSPECT OF CHANGE FOR THE AVERAGE AMERICAN PEOPLE, WHO ARE LEFT ON THEIR OWN WITHOUT REPRESENTATION.

    IF THIS ELECTION PROVES ANYTHING, IT WILL PROVE THAT VOTING FOR ONE PARTY MEMBER OR ANOTHER, ONLY GIVES CONTROL OF THIS COUNTRY TO EITHER A DEMOCRAT OR A REPUBLICAN PARTY, WHOSE SOLE PURPOSE IS TO HELP THEIR MEMBERS AND NOT THE MILLIONS OF AMERICANS WHO, BY CHOICE, HAVE LEFT THEIR POLITICAL PARTY OR REALIZE THE PROBLEM OF WHICH I SPEAK AND PREFER TO BE INDEPENDENT, BUT WHO, IN THE FINAL ANALYSIS, ARE NOT REPRESENTED IN WASHINGTON BY EITHER PARTY THEY Y MAY VOTE INTO OFFICE.

   THE RESULT, UNFORTUNATELY, IS THAT THE MAJORITY OF AMERICANS WILL REMAIN UNREPRESENTED UNTIL AND UNLESS THEY TOO ELECT AN INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE FOR OFFICE WHO WILL REPRESENT THEM AND ONLY THEM, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AS A WHOLE.

  

    MONEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO WIN AMERICAN ELECTIONS, IT IS THE UNIFIED VOTE OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WHO SHOULD WIN ELECTIONS AND MONEY, THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL, SHOULD NOT PAY A PART IN ANY ELECTION.  WAKE UP AMERICA AND HELP YOURSELF, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!      

                    

 

THE FALLACY OF THE STRATEGY OF

BOTH POLITICAL PARTIES FOR 2012

            Since the national election of 2010, when the republican party and its members, gained ground against the bumbling and fumbling democratic president and congress, they think they have the democratic president and congress, they think they have the democrats on the ropes.  They have decided that the president and congress are held in such ill repute by the American people, all they need to do is to defeat the democrats, then they will be back in power, finish the demolition of the country that was started in 1985 by a republican congress and the democratic president Clinton with the passage of free trade legislation.

            With the economy in shambles and the democrat's failure to improve the unemployment situation, crippling the country for the last three years, the republicans feel they can defeat Obama and regain control of the senate while increasing their majority in congress, keep their ten year tax breaks for the 1% of rich Americans, repeal the Obama health care law, reduce the national budget and debt, cut Medicaid and Medicare and Social Security, reduce or eliminate the minimum wage, and continue to run slipshod over the helpless American worker and their unions for their sole benefit and advantage.  In this way, they plan to get richer, while the poor and middle class get poorer and become slaves to rich's greed.

            In the meantime, Obama and the democrats have already started to beat their drums, by showing he and the country inherited this mess from former president Bush and the republicans.  They have been working hard to improve the situation, by helping the unions and those political crony public employees, all unionized and protected by the democrats passing a useless health bill that increases medical costs instead of lowering them, passed a phony credit card bill, that increases the interest charged by the lender to near 30% while the stimulus bill only helped people in office or holding public jobs.  Obama and his democrats have done nothing to make the banks and lending institutions, who have caused this recession, give relief to homeowners whose mortgages are "underwater" while they allow real estate values to drop every month to a point they have, on average, lost 50% of their value putting more property underwater each month.

            Obama and the democrats have the following plan and argument, yes things are tough, but the republicans have caused it and will continue to rape and raid this country, if, you put them back into power.  So, in effect their argument boils down to a choice of the lessor of two evils, so they feel assured they can win this argument to win re-election in 2012.  The trouble with each of these plans is that it assumes the American people have one choice only keep Obama and the democrats in power or elect a new republican president and a congress with a republican majority in both houses to give the republicans free rein to destroy our country in the next two to four years.

            Of course, the fallacy of these arguments and plan is, they assume the American people must choose only between on political party or another.  They forget how disenchanted, disgusted and discouraged the American people are about their government which has been operating alternatively with one party or another in power for the last 30 years, while jobs have been allowed to escape overseas to cheap labor markets at the expense of the American worker.  They forget that OPEC and the American oil producers have joined together since 1973 when EPEC began the oil embargo and then doubled, tripled, quadrupled and more gas and fuel oil prices.  All while congress and successive presidents allowed this to continue by accepting big campaign contributions from big oil and big business, which now control congress and every president, year after year with money, while us foolish American's perpetuate the situation by continuously re-electing them to office to continue their pilfering of our country and people.

            For the last couple of years this country has witnessed an awakening to the problem by the American people.  They now realize who the culprits are, the very representatives they have elected to congress and the presidency.  Money and political power rule the politician parties and its elected members.  That is why they usually vote in lockstep against each other as they line up like armies for the battle instead of acting as the represtatives of all the American people, as they should.  Witness what has happened since the American people foolishly voted in a republican dominated House of Representatives in 2010.  The American people thought they would show their anger at the Obama administration and congress for their lack of progress to help the economy and the unemployment and mortgage problems.  Instead they got a dysfunctional congress that cannot agree on anything except a plan to destroy each other and no help for us Americans.

            My suggestion, at this time is simple, we can let them have their way and destroy both of them with one vote in 2012, from each of us voters, and be rid of representatives whom only help themselves and no one else especially the
American people, they should be representing.  This can be done by voting only for an independent candidate and not a member of either political party.

            Let the American people demonstrate, that money contributions by corporations and big business interests cannot buy an election, but rather the vote of the American people is what trumps money and the power of both political parties.  At least the independent candidate you elect will be beholden only to the people who elect them.  If they fail to do that to the satisfaction of the American people, they will, in turn, not be re-elected but replaced until we have the right people in office.  In the final analysis, we cannot and should not keep making the same mistakes by electing members of one party or another to office each term since we know how they will represent as they have proven in the past.

            The drums of this movement have begun to beat in every city and town with demonstrations by "We the People" and "Occupy Wall Street." Their message gets louder each day, as it should, while the message gets stronger, the American people want a fool proof plan and immediate action for relief, today not after the next election.  The march to congress has begun.

            Both political parties have had their chance for the change we need in this country, they have both failed miserably.  It is time for drastic action by the American people because as it is said in the first words of our constitution, this country is run by "We the People of the United States..." and it is time we make sure this country is run for the people's benefit and not for anyone else.  All we need are independent leaders and non politicians to represent us in the future as it should be.
