WHO IS THE REAL WINNER AND LOSER IN THIS 2008 PRESIDENTIALELECTION ON NOVEMBER 4TH?
This article was first written on: November 3, 2008 I’m
reprinting it for you now, so you can be reminded of my earlier predictions and thoughts.
November 4, 2008, is Election Day and it cannot come too soon for us Americans.
We have been barraged with candidates and slogans thru a primary and two political party conventions, with a myriad
of wistful candidates, most of whom we cannot remember today. The end result, with a candidate from each
major political party, resulted from such a nasty primary fight, that no one was really happy with the candidates selected.
Since the national conventions, we have been hammered with e-mails, telephone calls, bell ringers and TV appearances
and mostly negative ads to the point we are turning off the TV and refusing to answer the telephone while deleting the e-mails
without even the thought of reading them. One thing I have noticed is that neither major candidate has
used the newspapers to place ads and I know why, aside from the lack of enough readerships, most democratic voters cannot
read and most republican voters want to be called personally before they commit to vote for anyone. It
seems TV ads are the most successful since they play to a captive audience, sitting there listening and too lazy to flip the
channel.
I
must compliment major candidates, McCain and Obama and their families for their dedication and efforts and sacrifice during
this long and grueling campaign. Most have been in a whirlwind of tours and gatherings for more than a
year, spouting their platforms and solutions if elected.
The sorry part is that one will win and the other will lose, in the end. Maybe, our founding fathers had it right when
the constitution was first enacted in 1787 because, before the passing of the 12th amendment in
1804, the person with the most electoral votes was elected president while the person with the second highest votes was elected
as vice-president. Therefore the two highest vote getters were automatically
elected to the two highest positions in the government. Since then, each candidate has had the privilege
of selecting their choice for vice president and they run together on the political ticket. Usually, the
vice-president is assigned to a building near the White House where he waits or hopes for the president to die, so he may
take over. It is for that reason that, usually the president has no use for the vice president because
he certainly reminds him of that fact and inwardly resents him as the harbored of death.
I
was happy to hear at a recent interview that Obama was asked if McCain could be used by him if he became the president. Obama
responded in the affirmative and said with the expertise of McCain in foreign policy and his ability to work with members
of both parties he would consider McCain an asset to the administration. When McCain was asked the same
question regarding Obama, McCain answered truthfully that with Obama’s inexperience and lack of knowledge in domestic
and foreign policy, there was no job for which Obama might qualify, in any event his choice of Sarah Palin as his vice-president,
being a woman, could serve him in many other ways.
As I listened to those two major candidates, promising what they intended to do if and when elected, I was insulted
because I realized as sitting US senators each had the present power to file legislation to solve the pressing problems they
promised to cure all year long as they ran for office.
Why
had they not acted then? Obviously, it is because each never intended to follow thru with their promises
once elected.
In addition,
each candidate voted for the bailout of the very banks and lending institutions that have caused this credit breakdown, while
giving the president and secretary Paulson a former CEO of Goldman-Sachs, one of the beneficiaries of the
bailout a carte blanch on how to hand out 750 billion dollars the treasury does not have, and which we
will be paying off for the next twenty years, the money, in the opinion of the average American would have been better spent
to bail out the ten million owners of homes with predatory loans that are in default and losing their homes as a result for
the last two or more years, without help or action.
With jobs continually going overseas, the oil and trade deficit are bankrupting our country while congress, the president
and neither candidate move to do anything to help the sagging economy for the last two years also.
It is no small wonder that whoever is elected president will have a problem on
his hands similar to what Roosevelt was confronted with when he took office in 1932. It took him about
8 years to get us out of that depression and it took a war to do it. In our case the wars in Afghanistan
and Iraq have already drained our credit and dollars to the tune of about 10 trillion dollars to date, there is no money left
to fix anything, let alone the billions planned by Obama to give each family $500 dollars to help them out. This
sum is, at best, used to pay a month’s mortgage or rent or food and is a temporary measure while we need permanent solutions,
instead. Unless
the next president commences a crash program for energy independence in the next five years, we will still be prisoners of
the oil cartels in the US and near east. At the same time we need a concentrated infrastructure plan
to fix our deteriorating bridges and roads throughout the country.
The
foreclosure of the defaulted home loan must be stopped by arranging a plan for each homeowner to stay in their home and pay
as much as they can afford for awhile until the economy improves. Most mortgages must be reduced to no
higher than market value. The 500 billion left from the bailout should be used for this purpose.
This action will stop the decline of home values and help the economy recover.
Our very first goal is to find ways to put the unemployed workers back to work
so they can support their families and pay the taxes needed to run this country. It is time for the worker’s
unions to come to the aid of the workers who have supported the unions for the last 70 years. It is also
time for the unions and management to work together to be more competitive. A profit sharing plan must be included in the
mix to give the workers the incentive to join in the problem of competition.
With the unemployment rising, it is time to send illegal immigrants home so Americans
can fill these jobs. All work visas must be cancelled on 90 days notice and the jobs filled
by Americans, even if they need to be trained for them. All work by American corporations should be banned
from outsourcing.
Free
trade should be replaced by balanced trade to end the trade deficit and bring jobs to American workers. China
and other countries should buy the same amount of goods as it sells to us.
We must withdraw our troops from Iraq as soon as it is safely possible.
We have won that fight and need to turn our attention to Afghanistan to stop the Taliban and terrorists there.
It is time for Iraq to defend itself.
All in all, I worry for the person that wins the election for president, because of the problems he faces fixing the
economy. He is going to be put to the test with impatient Americans who want solutions not excuses.
The real winner may be the loser because; all he has to do after the election is to go home, lick his wounds and be
grateful he was not elected.

GUANTANAMO AND THE QUESTION OF WHICH TRIBUNAL SHOULD TRY
TERRORISTS
IN THE U.S.A.
January 14, 2010 Dear president Barack Obama,
Back in 2002, when the Afghanistan war was
winding down, I questioned why the so called Al-Qaeda prisoners were being sent to the u s a base in Guatanamo, Cuba.
My fifty years of legal training and experience told me the Bush administration was trying to avoid bringing them to
US soil so that the US court jurisdiction would not apply and their right to a civilian trial would be avoided.
I presumed at some point there would be a military tribunal trial and the fate of those prisoners would be finally
determined. Months and years went by without a whimper about any trial and then recently we learned that
more than half of them were returned to their countries of origin, such as Saudi Arabia and Yemen. The
fact that these prisoners were held for more than seven years without a trial in one forum, or another is a violation of our
system of justice for anyone in the United States under our constitution.
My problem is that apparently half of these so called terrorists must have been innocent, or they should not have been
released. To add insult to injury, some of those released prisoners have rejoined Al-Qaida and are plotting
more terrorist acts against America.
When the shoe bomber was prevented from blowing up an airplane bound for the u s a we learned that he would be tried
in a New York Federal court under the federal rules of criminal procedure and nobody complained or raised any question about
it.
After your election, when you announced the proposed closing of the prison at
quantanimo we heard many complaints about them being moved to a facility in Illinois and the danger to the American people.
Of course most of the complaints came from your antagonists the Republican Party faithful you had promised to include
in the functions of the government but failed to do so. Therefore, the criticism you
are getting is well deserved for political reasons if no other.
As usual, you failed to explain your reasons for closing quantanimo, but any reasonable person can understand and agree
with that plan if only from a very practical point of view. Every day we held those prisoners there many
sympathetic Muslims and others in the al-Qaida cause could argue they were innocent and were being held unjustly and they
would be right as to at least half of them the other half were seen as martyrs to the cause they could rally round and give
unity to the cause to destroy America and great Brittan and their arch enemy for more than 200 years, Israel.
In this vein, I remember the remark of an American of Syrian descent who openly cursed Israel and the Jews.
When I asked what Israel or the Jews had done to him to justify such strong feeling against them, his answer floored
me, “my father and forefathers hated them so I hate them, too. It was then I realized you cannot
reason with such people or hope to convince them to the contrary. There is no forgiving in a Muslim, unlike
Christians, it is kill, or be killed and to die for alla is to be martyred. Finally, Al-Qaeda members could
hold up all those held at Guantanamo as heroes for the cause. If, on the other hand, they are held and
tried as terrorist common criminals in our civil courts, they can only be regarded as criminals for their actions. On Christmas day the so called underwear bomber attempted to blow up
an airliner bound for Detroit only to be foiled by some miracle, when your attorney general announced that he will be tried
in a state criminal court, the usual cry and complaints poured in from your republican, political brothers. I
would be surprised if you were caught unawares by this action since you have chosen to remain confrontational with that party
since your election. Do your best to enjoy the attention, knowing you are doing no more than
president Bush did with the shoe bomber and another administration did to prosecute those that planned the first twin tower
bombing years ago.
In summary, I do not think it matters which forum is used except for the fact
that if they are treated a “common criminals” it sound a lot better than “enemy combatants” that theoretically
must be released once the war is over. As they have been after each war America has fought against an enemy.
When you seriously think about their status, you realize these terrorists are
nothing but a loose band of people bent on terrorizing the US, England and Israel only because we are backing Israel’s
right to exist in harmony with others in their former homeland two thousand years of pent up resentment cannot be erased in
a few years and maybe never.
People, who advocate a military tribunal, theorize
these captives may be interrogated at will under that status, but they forget that, we must have probable cause to arrest
and hold them in the first place and we should not need further evidence to convict them in court
under our justice system.

The Simple Solutions to End America’s Economic Recession
January 12, 2010
Dear president Barack Obama,
America has been in an economic
recession since 2007 when unemployment started to rise above 5% and the resulting foreclosures of high risk low down payment
home mortgages began to endanger the soundness of the banking industry’s actions.
As a result, in late 2008, president Bush’s answer to the resulting banking crises was to save the banks that caused
the problem, instead of finding ways and means to replace the lost jobs that triggered the problems with this financial overreaching
due to the greed of the banking institutions. The 1.2 trillion dollar bailout of AIG and the larger financial institutions,
with treasury funds, was divided in half, one half to be doled out during the bush administration and the second half by the
next administration which was your, Obama administration.
The theory behind this bank bailout was that the country could not function without these banking institutions loan
making infusions into the business economy which would help stabilize it and put the unemployed back to work.
As you stated, “they are too big to fail”. Also, the banks were relied upon to adjust
these mortgages so most people could save their homes from foreclosures, therefore when your administration took over, you
continued with this theory by expending most of the remaining $600 billion dollar bailout fund, even though you had clear
signs this theory was not working in practice.
AIG
took this money and used some to bail out the errant banks from their unwise bad loans while squandering the balance on parties
for agents at lush resorts and giving millions of dollars in bonuses to the very officials who caused this problem.
I remember your treasury secretary, Mr. Gheitner stating, “These bonuses are part of a contract that must be
honored,” even though public money was being used. Congress, on the other hand, has had a year’s
time to provide the necessary legislation to control these unwise bonuses, but has chosen not to take action to this date.
Now, a year later we find that these same big banking institutions are handing out 10 to 15 million dollar bonuses
for the year 2009 to each of its executives, even though they have failed to make the expected loans to help the economy or
adjust the mortgages held by them.
It is no wonder why the
American people are turned off by this bank bailout that has failed to help the economy or return a single unemployed worker
to work. It is more than obvious that this bailout was a big blunder by both administrations and that it
would have been wiser to let these banking institutions fail because there were plenty of investors ready to take them over.
On the other hand, it is foolhardy to expect a bank to make loans on property that is decreasing in value every day
because of the continued foreclosure and unemployment problems. Until the unemployment and foreclosure
rate bottoms out and prices and values stabilize no bank can reasonably be expected to make loans on property whose value
continues to fall. Nor is there a market for loans in an economy with unemployment rising by the day causing
further home and commercial mortgage defaults.
The
economic stimulus package passed by congress at your behest last February was more of a political payoff to loyal supporters
of your campaign for the presidency than any attempt to put people back to work or find new jobs for those that escaped overseas
in search of cheaper labor. When you announced, “ this economic recovery act will make or save (so many)
jobs,” you really meant cities towns and the states will be helped to balance their budgets and keep their union civil
servants on the job through this temporary downturn, which has grown to a permanent recession with no end in sight.
You cannot point with certainty to one new job created by this billion dollar pork barrel scheme of wasted money in
the face of an unemployment figure that has doubled since you took office a year ago, you and congress have labored a year on these ill conceived and ram-rodded plans, including a health plan that is
fixing nothing but costing the American taxpayers a trillion dollars more to cover people who cannot afford the high cost
of insurance but are made to buy it or face a fine while costs are spiraling higher each day, out of control.
If you had brought down the cost of health care, first, everyone should be able to afford it and nothing else needed
to be fixed.
In the meantime, you have failed to
keep a single promise you were elected to keep and have lost the faith, trust and hope the American people have placed in
you. You have chosen to have joined the same politicians you promised to oppose in office.
You have failed to bring about the bipartisan support you promised and in fact you and congress have acted unilaterally.
The result is not democracy in action, it is the same political party animosity that has plagued our government for
many years and has failed to solve all the problems this country needs to fix in a democratic way.
If you had started your administration in an honest attempt to help put the unemployed
back to work in permanent jobs the recession would have improved instead of worsening. All your temporary
fixes cannot help this economy because of the jobs and business lost to overseas cheap labor. As you so
aptly stated, “These jobs are lost forever” unless you replace these jobs you will continue to have chronic unemployment.
The other remaining trades or industries cannot absorb these losses because the demand cannot rise that fast.
Your administration has the obligation
to help find and fund every attempt to find permanent jobs to replace those lost permanently, because the
u s government passed the free trade act.backin the 1980’s which has caused this problem:
1. One way is to replace free
trade with fair trade. Foreign countries may sell all the goods they like to us, but, they must take
American goods in return instead of money. This will also eliminate our trade deficit on imported goods.
2. We need to
stop our dependency on costly foreign oil by replacing oil with renewable energy, such as wind, solar, water and thermal power,
readily available in every one of our fifty states. This will eliminate the serious trade deficit
in oil while putting millions of unemployed Americans into new permanent jobs; this need is immediate and should be done within
five years.
3. Building construction, a major local employer, cannot be expected to recover until the price of existing buildings is
stabilized and the existing inventory is diminished. All foreclosures must be ended by adjustment to existing
values, the banks must take these losses now or they will surely be increased as values continue to decline. A
federal bank program might help this situation, if necessary. This plan is also, urgent, because construction
costs cannot compete with the existing and constant falling values of real-estate.
4. We must immediately
identify all illegals in this country, including all visa workers and send them back to their countries of origin so these
jobs may be doled out to our American unemployed. Their presence in this country at this time is sapping
the economy of every city and state the 2010 federal census can do this job quickly.
5. Our borders
must be manned by soldiers and our border patrol employees. We need a million additional persons employed
to control the influx of illegals and possible terrorists at our neglected borders with Mexico and
Canada. Nine years after 9/11 our borders are still open.
6. Our national unions are
resposible for our high national standard of living, but at the same time unions have caused our country’s workers to
be priced above the world’s market labor. It is time for unions to come to the aid of its workers to invest the
capital they have in their treasuries to make jobs for their union members. In a world wide competition
with foreign businesses. In this way many unemployed workers will be re-employed in their old jobs, working
for themselves in a new type of self employment.
Finally, and in conclusion, each of these suggestions should be given serious consideration by your administration
and congress, since this is the only practical way the economy will recover and we may have full employment soon.
A working man has his self respect, pays his taxes and his pay is spent to aid everyone in the economy including local,
state and the federal governments and deficit spending will end. Everyone gains, no one loses and you will
be assured the credit you will be entitled to, since you will have the faith and trust of the american people you have lost
but will regain, once again, in the final analysis, theAmerican- voters are the only
persons you will need to be re-elected after solving this economic mess we are in. It may not have been caused by you, but,
by your election you have undertaken to solve without undue delay. Time to act is running out for you and
the congress. You must stop acting politically and start acting in the best intersts of the American people
as you say, the buck stops with you and we know you can do the right thing by us. Jobs need to be found,
today. Our sincerest best wishes for you and the country we love, and the way of
life we need to save.

Nine Years After 9/11/01 and Americans Still Cannot Fly Safely From the Threats of Terrorists
January
8, 2010
Since 9/11/01, when four planes were high jacked by foreign terrorists who crashed into
both twin towers in New York City, the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania with the loss of more than three thousand innocent
lives, the US Government still cannot prevent terrorists from boarding US planes bent on destruction of the planes and its
occupants.
The government has spent billions of dollars on Sky
Marshalls, strip searches at each airport, while passengers are delayed for hours at airports and yet the system has failed
us every time a terrorist has been able to board a plane with explosives. That has occurred
twice in the last six years.
About five years ago, a shoe bomber boarded a plane in London bound for the us
a and during the flight tried to ignite a non metallic bomb only to fail because of a miracle and not the help of the USA
who failed to detect the explosive in the man’s shoe.
Since
that date, the US Government has had ample time to install the available body scanning machines to detect these types of explosives
but, for some inexplicable reason, failed to do so. It was a miracle that during those five years
terrorists did not try to use those non metallic explosives to blow up other planes, while, all the time the US Government
knew full well they could have done so undetected at the boarding stations, throughout the world. Five
years ago, they did initiate a system whereby passengers were not allowed to bring liquids of any kind on board along with
tooth paste, lipstick and other items, but, all the while these items could not be detected with the detection machines in
use during that time. If they were depending on the honesty of a passenger to comply with the
ban this was as foolish as the lack of use of a body scanning machine, which was then readily available. Thanks for another miracle, the
terrorists waited another five years to attempt to pass a terrorist through security at two airports in Amsterdam and Yemen
and obviously succeeded.
Thanks to another miracle the terrorists
failed to ignite the bomb because of the heroic actions of a fellow passenger, while the plane was over the city of Detroit,
Michigan.
The point I am trying to make, is the simple fact that for the last five years any terrorist
could have passed security at any airport and brought down any plane of their choice. But for the intervention
of two miracles, they would certainly have succeeded. How many times can we expect to depend on a miracle
to save a plane and the lives of all passengers against the act of a terrorist?
Those
body scanning machines which have been available for use since the shoe bomber incident should have been employed five years
ago. The Bush administration had four years to do so and the Obama administration had a full year to do
so and both failed to protect the millions of passengers entering and leaving the USA, for all those years. Homeland
security knew this and also failed in spite of the intercession of a miracle in the shoe bomber incident.
It is ironic to think that the US Government for the last five years has relied on a miracle to save us from the actions
of terrorists to bring down our airplanes. They should have installed the body scanning machines
after the shoe bomber incident five years ago, but did not. And only a miracle saved that plane on Christmas
day over Detroit.
Our country has failed us miserably, so when Obama
says “the buck stops here” because of security’s failure to “connect the dots”, he is merely
trying to avoid his duty as our president to fire everyone at the head of our security agencies, including himself, a dismal
failure at the task he so freely and ambitiously undertook on January 20, 2009.
Instead of wasting his time on bailing out Wall Street and a health care bill to enrich the insurance industry, he
should have tightened up security he knew was glaringly lacking, while working to reduce the unemployment of 15 million suffering
Americans, by finding permanent jobs for them. Both administrations and congress are dismal failures
and neither deserves to remain in public office under these disgraceful circumstances.
This country is being controlled, by political parties and lobbyists and the time has come for the American people
to take back their country from these money merchants and power grabbers once and for all time. The first
step should occur in 2010, when all the House of Representatives and one third of the senate are up for re-election.
The fact that many representatives and senators have announced their intention
not to run for re-election, reminds me of a bunch of rats deserting a sinking ship of state. They
have messed up this country so much to the point even they cannot right the wrongs they have caused.

2000 TO 2010, A DECADE OF DECADENCE, IN AMERICAN POLITICS
THE SUPREME COURT’S INTERFERENCE IN THE RESULTS OF THE AMERICAN PRESIDENTIAL
ELECTION BETWEEN GEORGE BUSH AND ALBERT GORE, BEGAN A DECADE OF DECADENCE IN AMERICA IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RECOUNT CONTROVERSY
IN FLORIDA, THE REPUBLICAN MAJORITY ON THE SUPREME COURT STOLE THE ELECTION FOR IT’S CHOSEN VICTOR, REPUBLICAN GEORGE
BUSH, EVEN THOUGH THE FLORIDA VOTE AND THE POPULAR VOTE THROUGOUT THE COUNTRY FAVORED ALBERT GORE, THE DEMOCRAT, AS OUR NEXT
PRESIDENT.
THIS EVENT, BROUGHT TO THE FOREFRONT THE CONSTANT TUG OF WAR BETWEEN THE TWO MAJOR POLITICAL
PARTIES IN AMERICA, WHICH, FOR MANY YEARS HAVE PREVENTED THE SMOOTH OPERATION OF OUR REPRESENTATIVE FORM
OF GOVERNMENT, INTENDED BY OUR FOUNDING FATHERS AND OUR U. S. CONSTITUTION . DURING, AT LEAST THIS DECADE, OUR INTENDED DEMOCATIC
REPRESENTATIVE , REPUBLIC FORM OF GOVERNMENT HAS BROKEN DOWN AND OUR GOVERNMENT HAS BEEN RUN
BY ONE MAJOR POLITICAL PARTY OR THE OTHER, TO THE DETERMENT OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WHO ARE LEFT
UNHEARD AND UNREPRESENTED.
A PRIME EXAMPLE OF THIS WAS THE RECENT HANDLING OF PRESIDENT OBAMA’S PROPOSED
NATIONAL HEALTH PLAN. IN SPITE OF HIS CAMPAIGN PROMISE TO CHANGE THE WAY THINGS WERE DONE IN CONGRESS AND
THE GOVERNMENT AND HIS PROMISE TO MAKE GOVERNING ALL INCLUSIVE FOR ALL MEMBERS OF CONGRESS, ONCE AGAIN.
HE PROCEEDED TO BOWL OVER THE MINORITY PARTY OF REPUBLICANS WITH HIS MAJORITY PARTY OF DEMOCRATS , MET WITH HIS PARTY
MEMBERS BEHIND CLOSED DOORS AND SHUT OUT ALL THE REPUBLICAN MEMBERS EXCEPT A FEW HE PLANNED TO COURT TO WIN
THE MAJOIRTY OF SIXTY NEEDED, TO SHUT OFF DEBATE AND HAVE HIS WAY WITHOUT THEIR IMPUT AND ADVISE. THIS IS NOT HOW OUR GOVERNMENT WAS INTENDED
TO RUN SINCE IT SHUTS OFF THOSE OF THE OPPOSITE PARTY AND ITS MEMBERS, WHO ARE ALSO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.
NO STATE OR DISTRICT IS ENTIRELY MADE UP OF ONE PARTY OR THE OTHER, SO IN EFFECT OBAMA AND THE DEMOCRATS, SHUT OFF
MEMBERS OF THEIR OWN PARTY IN THE PROCESS AND LEFT THEM WITHOUT A VOICE IN THE HEALTH CARE PLAN. ANOTHER
GLARING EXAMPLE, OF PARTY CONTROL, WAS WHEN THE LEADERS OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY IN MICHIGAN AND FLORIDA, CHOSE TO SELECT A
DIFFERENT PRIMARY DATE THAN THAT SELECTED BY THE NATIONAL COMMITTEE AND, AS A RESULT THE VOTE OF THE DEMOCRATIC VOTERS IN
BOTH STATES WAS CANCELLED AND NOT COUNTED FOR THE CANDIDATE CHOSEN OBAMA REFUSED TO ALLOW THESE VOTES
TO BE COUNTED IN FULL AND AS A RESULT, WHILE HE GAINED DELEGATES, THE VOTERS CHOICE IN THESE STATES WAS IGNORED.
THIS IS BUT ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF THE ABUSIVE POWER GIVEN A POLITICAL PARTY AND A VERY GOOD REASON WHY
POLITICAL PARTIES SHOULD BE BANNED IN THE ELECTION PROCESS AND IN THE OPERATION OF OUR GOVERNMET. JUST LOOK AT THE RECENT VOTES AS COUNTED IN
BOTH HOUSES OFCONGRESS.
PARTIES, DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS VOTED IN LOCKSTEP ACCORDING TO THE WISHES OF THEIR PARTIUCLAR PARTY AND NOT IN ACCORCANCE
OF THE WILL OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WHO OVERWELMINGLY OPPOSED THE HEALTH PLAN, IN EVERY POLL TAKEN. IN SPITE
OF THIS PREFERENCE, THE DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS AND PARTY AND PRESIDENT OBAMA BOWLED AHEAD WITH A PLAN THAT SUITED THEM AND NOT
THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. THERE IS NO QUESTION, BUT THAT THE DEMOCRATIC
PARTY WAS LOOKING FOR THE FUTURE VOTE OF THE 30 MILLION AMERICANS WHO WILL OBTAIN COVERAGE UNDER THIS HEALTH PLAN AND
NOT THE REAL PROBLEM WITH THE PLEASANT PLAN, ITS OBVIOUS HIGH COST. IF OBAMA AND CONGRESS HAD CONCENTRATED
ON REDUCING THESE HEALTH CARE COSTS THEN THE PLAN WOULD BE AFFORABLE TO EVERYONE, NOT JUST THE 30 MILLION AMERICANS THEY WANT
TO COVER. INSTEAD THE PLAN AS PASSED IN ITS PRESENT FORM, DOES NOT REDUCE COSTS, IT ONLY PROMISES TO DO
SO. WE ALL KNOW WHAT PROMISES MEAN TO POLITICIANS. THAT, MY FRIENDS, IS WHAT MAKES A JOKE OUT OF THIS PLAN. YES THEY HAVE
INCLUDED PROVIVONS WHEREBY THE INSURERS MUST NOT TURN DOWN OR CANCEL ANYONE FOR PRE-EXISTHIG AILMENTS, BUT WHO DO YOU THINK
PAYS FOR THIS INCLUSION, THE REST OF US COVERED RECIPIENTS, SINCE PREMIUMS ARE NOT CONTROLLED? THE ONLY
ONE BENEFITTING FROM THIS LEGISLATION IS THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY WHO HAS LOBBYISTS VISITING THE WHITE HOUSE AND CONGRESS EVERY
DAY WITH MORE THAN A BILLION DOLLARS FOR THEY CAMPAIGNS FOR RE- ELECTION. MAYBE, THIS WAS PART OF THE PLAN
TO SHAKE DOWN THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY AND THEY OBLIGED AND PRODUCED A PLAN WITHOUT A NATIONAL PLAN TO FOSTER
COMPETITION OR ANY HELP FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE TO CUT THE DOUBLE COSTS IN THE U.S. FOR PRESCRIPTION DRUGS, BOTH OF WHICH
ARE VITAL TO THE SUCCESS OF ANY HEALTH PLAN. THE ONLY WAY
THE AMERICAN PEOPLE CAN MEET THE CHALLENGE AND REQUIREMENT OF BEING FORCED TO BUY INSURANCE OR BE FINED, IS TO START UP THEIR
OWN CO-OPERATIVE PLAN, WHICH IS THE ONLY METHOD TO AVOID THE HIGH PROFIT AND CONTROL MADE BY THE INSURANCE
INDUSTRY.
FOR THE LAST TWENTY YEARS ALL MEANINGFUL LEGISLATION TO “FIX” THE SOCIAL
SECURITY SYSTEM, THE COST OF PRESCRIPTION DRUGS, AND HEALTH CARE HAVE LANGUISHED IN CONGRESS WITHOUT ACTION
OR SUCCESS, BECAUSE OF THE BITTER BICKERING BETWEEN THE TWO MAJOR POLITICAL PARTIES.
THE RECENT RISE IN THE STOCK MARKET HAS ONLY HELPED THE RICH GET RICHER WHILE THE UNEMPLOYED, AFTER TWO AGONIZING YEARS
ARE STILL UNEMPLOYED WHILE THE GOVERNMENT AND CONGRESS DOES NOTHING TO HELP THEM FIND PERMANMENT EMPLOYMENT. SESSIONS OF CONGRESS DURING THIS PERIOD
RESEMBLE BATTLEFIELDS RATHER THAN MEANINGFUL DISCUSSIONS, COMPROMISE AND VOTES TO SOLVE THESE PROBLEMS. AS LONG AS THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ALLOW THE POLITICAL PARTIES
TO RUN THE COUNTRY, WE WILL NOT HAVE A DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS WHO CAN SOLVE THE PEOPLE’S PROBLEMS IN THE PROPER MANNER,
WE WILL BE SUBJECTED TO ONE CONGRESS AND ADMINISTRATION AFTER ANOTHER, SELLING OUT TO LOBBYISTS AND THEIR POLITICAL PARTY
RATHER SOLVE, THE PROBLEMS OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. EVERY TWO YEARS, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE
A CHANCE TO ELECT AN ENTIRELY NEW CONGRESS AND ONE THIRD OF THE SENATE CHAMBER. IF WE CONTINUE TO
THROW OUT ONE PARTY MEMBER FOR THE OTHER PARTY MEMBER, WE WILL BE MERELY COMPOUNDING THE PROBLEMS INSTEAD OF SOLVING THEM.
THIS ACTION, OVER THE LAST 20 YEARS, HAS PROVEN TO BE UNSUCCESSFUL. WHAT WE NEED TO DO IS TO ORGANIZE
THE INDEPENDENT VOTER, WHO PRESENTLY OUTNUMBERS BOTH PARTIES AND OUR DISGRUNTLED PARTY MEMBERS AND NOMINATE NON POLITICAL,
INDEPENDENT CANDIDATES WHOM WE CAN VOTE INTO OFFICE TO DO THE BIDDING OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WHO ELECT THEM. IF
WE OBTAIN AN INDEPENDENT MAJOIRTY THEN, MAYBE, WE CAN ELIMINATE POLITICAL PARTIES AND THE INFLUENCE PEDDLING
OF LOBBYISTS, IN THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT AND SOLVE ALL THE PROBLEMS OF THIS GOVERNMENT THAT BOTH POLITICAL PARTIES HAVE
FAILED TO DO FOR THE PAST 20 TO 30 YEARS.
IF YOU DESIRE TO BRING ABOUT REAL MEANINGFUL CHANGE AND REAL ACTION IN OUR CONGRESS AND ADMINISTRATIONS TO STOP THE
SELLING OUT OF OUR COUNTRY TO FOREIGN COUNTRIES AND TO STOP THIS DEFICIT SPENDING AND BANKRUPTING OF OUR COUNTRY, WHILE PRODUCING
REAL PLANS AND MEANS TO RE-EMPLOYOUR UNEMPLOYED WORKERS, JOIN THE INDEPENDENT MOVEMENT, WE MUST HAVE THE INTEREST AND COURAGE
TO TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK FROM THESE DEVIOUS POLITICIANS AND RETURN IT WHERE IT BELONGS, TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN SAVING YOUR COUNTRY FOR YOURSELF, YOUR CHILDREN AND FUTURE GENERATIONS
TO COME, PLEASE CONTACT ME IN THIS BLOG OR THE ADDRESS ABOVE AND HAVE YOUR FRIENDS DO THE SAME.
IT IS UP TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE TO COME UP WITH THE PLAN, THE PLATFORM AND THE CANDIDATES IN EVERY DISTRICT AND STATE
TO MAKE THIS WORK DEMOCATICALLY.
WE MUST PROVE TO THE POLITICAL PARTIES THAT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE MORE POWER THAN THEM AND THEIR LOBBYISTS AND THAT
WE MUST SOLVE OUR OWN PROBLEMS SINCE THEY HAVE REPEATEDLY DEMONSTRATED THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED TO DO THE JOB, WE ELECTED THEM
TO DO ANY LONGER. GOD BLESS, AMERICA AND THE AMERICAN VOTER.
