COME NOVEMBER 3, 2010, GOING TO THE POLLS
TO VOTE IS LIKE REPLACING ONE BAD REPRESENTATIVE FOR ANOTHER October 27, 2010
For the last two years we have waited for Obama and the Democrats to straighten out the economy and put between, 15 to 22
million people back to work. Sadly, the economy is worse as the unemployment figures go up and foreclosures continue
because mortgages exceed values of the property as real estate values continue to fall. Obama and the Democrats chose to help
the financial institutions rather than the people, that their greed crated this problem. In spite of the fact that Obama tries to
excuse, himself and the Democrats, from responsibility, he forgets, that is the reason why the congress and the presidency
were put in office and are controlled by Democrats. The American people were promised help and relief and they are being
ignored. The Democrats can only act politically and what is good for their party
all they can do is to worry about being re-elected rather than help the American people. This recession has now lasted
longer than any other except the depression of the 1930's and like then, there is no end in sight. The only hope the Democrats in
power can give us is to give tax breaks to small business if and when they hire more employees. To do that these companies
need to know there will be an increased market and demand for their product. And the fact they can compete with the
free trade countries who have been flooding our country with cheaper and inferior products for years. You and I know
that employers cannot add people to the work force otherwise, since the economy is stagnant, because of unemployment caused
by their jobs going to the free trade countries overseas.
The Democrats
and Republicans cannot help the American people simply because they are paid by the lobbyists in Washington to do their bidding
which is not to interfere with Wall Street, the price of gasoline, prescription drugs and a free trade system that has crippled
the US manufacturing system. We even continue to give work visas to foreign workers to come to the US and work for fat
companies who lay off American workers to hire them. Adding insult to injury, both political parties have allowed illegal
immigrants to enter this country to take jobs away from Americans who now need any job just to survive. The Republicans, who represent
no one but big businesses are paid to lower taxes for them and the rich help them crush the labor unions and workers, by shipping
their businesses and jobs overseas where the cheap labor makes the companies richer and the American worker unemployed.
The Republicans want to eliminate the minimum wage, social security, welfare and Medicare and Medicaid as, "too expensive."
They insist on a continuation of the tax breaks for the rich even as the country is in hopeless debt and the value of the
dollar keeps falling. Their philosophy is, "everyone for themselves. What the American people should realize is
that the Republicans have practiced this philosophy for the last twenty years and that is exactly what got us into this mess. That was the very
reason the American people put all their faith and trust in Obama and the Democratic Party in 2008, by electing them to solve
and change this abuse of power.
Unfortunately, the power of money in the hands of our representatives, obstensively, as contributions for their election and
re-election has placed the suffering American people in last place position in interest by the very representatives we elect
to office to represent us.
So, come November 3, 2010, with the choice at the polls of a Democrat or Republican, in or out of office, no matter whom,
we put into office, do not expect any change. Why? Because each is controlled by their respective political
parties and the lobbyists of Washington, the tea party will be at odds with the Republican Party since they will not bow to
their control.
If the Republicans take over either house of congress and they surely will, you can expect an all out war between the political
parties with the same old stalemates and inaction and continued inability to help the American people. Expect everything
to become worse, until the American people realize that the Democrats and Republicans parties and the money of the lobbyists
and special interests are the real problem with our government's inability to adequately represent the American people.
In my opinion, nothing will change until the American people take the necessary interest and action, on their own behalf and
get rid of both these useless political parties and elect Independent people who are willing to represent
the American people first and always as they should do. All this can be done without the power of money, which as everyone
knows, is the root problem of all the evil in our government.

OUR POLITICAL OFFICE HOLDERS HAVE A REAL PROBLEM, THE COST OF RUNNING FOR OFFICE October
23, 2010 It may be true that our congressmen
are held in ill repute, these days because they cannot solve the problems with the economy and unemployment, the cost of governing,
the deficit spending and the resulting high national debt.
But, if you really knew the problems our congressmen face each day, you might understand and be more sympathetic and understanding
of their plight in Washington.
First of all, each member of the two political parties blames each other for the lack of progress and this is true.
For example, once the republican lost control of the congress and the White House, the other party and their members are party
loyalty bound to do all they can to be obstructionists against the ruling party, the Democrats? Do you remember what
radio host, Russ Limbaugh said, once Barack Obama won the election, "I hope and pray he fails!" The fact that
this man was chosen by the majority of the American people means nothing to the Republican losers alike. They must now
act like the obstructionists they are, since the Democrats are their sworn enemy in politics and their job is to start the
new election campaign to unseat the Democrats at all costs and under all circumstances. That is why the opposition is
called the party of "no".
Each party has their own philosophy and agenda and each is backed by the proponents of each own agenda. The Democrat's,
are supported by the labor unions that are against the big business interests, who in turn, also hate unions. They are
traditionally for the poor and welfare recipients who look upon the Democratic Party as their big brother, who they can always
count on for a free handout and help in times of need. Until the civil rights act was passed by President Johnson and
a Democratic congress. The southern states suddenly changed their party affiliation to Republican from Democratic.
It is made obvious that the south, after nearly another fifty years, is still anti-black, and staunch Republicans and still
harbor the resentment of the north taking away their slaves. In addition, the Republicans are led by conservatives and
big business interests who believe in no taxes and no government control. That is, until they are in trouble,
like the recent bank bailout. They believe in a dog eat dog life with everyone for themselves, no minimum wages, Social
Security, Medicare or Medicaid, and, above all, no welfare, except for them. They are the ones who moved overseas, looking
for the cheap labor and to escape unions.
Did you know that each congress office holder spends about two million dollars every two years to get elected to a two year
term? That the average senator spends about 50 million dollars in his/her re-election campaign every six years?
Did you know that all this money to hold an office that pays less than $200,000 a year! The money for these re-election campaigns comes mainly from the 5000 lobbyists
that from roam around Washington each day handing out money to your representatives in office.
In order to collect all this "necessary money" for re-election, congress only sits three days a week and only about
130 days a year if you count holidays and vacations.
Therefore, the plight of a congressman/woman is a never ending quest for money, once they take office for the first year and
for the second year it is more of the same quest for money and running for office, again. Therefore the time for
the peoples' business is very limited as a result, especially since the lobbyists expect a lot in return for the money they
donate to congressmen/woman. Sadly the American peoples' needs come last in priority to a congressman/woman,
not by choice but by necessity. And
now you know why it is not the fault of the congressmen/woman in this situation, of money ruling the day. Each political
party donates huge sums for the representative members of their party and therefore demand, their unified vote as a result,
under the threat of abandonment and banishment. The political parties control their members and run the country, even
though there is no mention of political parties in the U. S. Constitution, they are a curse on our nation. The ever more political supreme court, recently ruled that
corporations and legal entities could donate unlimited sums of money for political contributions, thereby increasing the influence
of non-persons in the political process, that should have been limited to the American people alone, who vote, that is why,
when you see the workings in congress on television, you see an empty chamber with speakers talking to themselves all day
except when it is time to vote. So, have pity on our congressmen/woman, instead of scorn, it is the system that is wrong
and without a fix, it will continue forever.
Until we ban political contributions from anyone except the American people who are the real government, our once glorious
country will continue to be run and be bought by everyone but the American people, who must suffer the consequences, when
things go wrong, as they have these days.
Congressmen/woman, have a built in safety net, even if they lose their office, after one term. They have voted themselves
raises, a retirement and health program that is the envy of everyone in the country. All the while, the American people must
find work, and hold two jobs these days, if they can find them. Most American's cannot vote for their-own raises.
The people cannot afford a health plan or contribute to a pension plan. All this, while congressmen/woman enjoy a separate
and superior health plan even though Obama promised us one equal to congressmen's/woman's and public employees.
My question is how can we afford to give our representatives in government and our employee's health and pension plans we
cannot afford for ourselves, the employers? Only you can elect a congressman/woman and
only you can throw him/her out when he/she abuses the power we entrust in them. If you keep re-electing them, you only
have yourself to blame.

Is America going from the, "fry pan into the fire,"
this election? October 16, 2010
Come, November 2nd, American voters will go to the polls to choose amongst the candidates running for federal office.
Most of the national polls indicate the voters will prefer the republican candidates over the Democrats, who have been in
control of our government for the last two years. It seems history in repeating itself in two short years, since after
eight long years of the Bush administration, their majority in the congress and the presidency was replaced by Barack Obama
and the Democrats, not by acclaim but by default.
President Bush, with the support of the Republican majority got us into two unwinnable wars that to date have lasted almost
ten years and drained us of our fighting men and money to the point they turned a surplus into a debt that reached about ten
trillion dollars. He also got us into a budget deficit of another trillion plus dollars a year. Meanwhile, the
stock market and the economy came crashing down because of the greed of the financial institutions, Wall Street, with the
aid of our Republican Party and Democratic Party office holders, alike. In addition they have caused 50% of our manufacturing
base to leave the country in search of cheaper labor.
By the end of 2008, the American public was hurting with an unemployment rate of about six percent and rising, mortgages that
were higher than the market value of the property they covered and a construction industry that had ground to a halt due to
the mortgage defaults in the real estate market.
The American people were desperate and looking for a savior to help them out of this mess that was nearing the level of the
great economic depression of the 1930's.
Into the arena strode a handsome, sweet talking, speaker, young Senator Barack Hussein Obama who, with his promises of "change,"
"can do," and, "yes we can" gave most Americans the hope they needed to elect him as our new president
on the promise he could solve every problem once he took office. Instead of the change he promised, Obama gave us more
of the same when he gave the financial institution the other half of the trillion dollar bailout because, as he stated, "they
are too big to fail" and left it to congress to draft a trillion dollar stimulus package that contained only help for
the public sector of the country and pork barrel projects for every congressman in their district and state. In addition,
every move by the Obama administration has been politically motivated and without any plan to put the 15 million unemployed
back to work so that the economy could return to normal, instead, he wasted billions on unemployment benefits for them that
only prolonged the problem instead of solving it.
All this left us in the same predicament the Republicans left us with in 2008 only worse off because the national debt has
now doubled in ten years, unemployment doubled in two years while real estate foreclosures continue to rise and
flood the market, preventing the construction industry from returning to work and put 25% of the nation's unemployed back
to work fifty percent of our work force jobs have been lost to overseas competition and something
must be done quick to return these jobs to America or replace them. All the hope and trust placed on the savior Obama has been lost. And now the voters
feel betrayed by him and a congress that seems to care only to help the lobbyists who give them "campaign contributions,"
rather than the American voter who elected them and they are sworn to help. Since this country is controlled by a two party system, between the Democrats and Republicans,
the choice at the polls, is obviously inadequate and limited. Campaign financing money and state laws make it especially
difficult for a third party to emerge so the American people may be given a clear choice other than the same old politicians
of both parties who have shared the power to govern over the years and, as a result, have driven us to bankruptcy and ruin. Unless and until we rid ourselves of the power of
these two political parties, whose only interest is the capture, control to maintain their power over the government for the
selfish interests of members of their party and not the American people who are the government of the people and by the people.
We will never be served, as we should be, by our elected representatives in congress, because they are controlled
and serve only their respective political party.
The unattached or Independent voters on the rolls of each city and town, now number as strong as either political party choice.
They are people disenchanted with both political parties and are content to remain "Independent" they have traditionally
voted for one party or the other at elections, only to be frustrated when the results are repeatedly the same disappointments,
time after time. They are composed of mainly middle class people who as a result of their "Independent standing"
at the polls remain unrepresented and abandoned by the very candidate or representative of either party they vote for along
with the party of the candidate representative. As a result, Independent voters are sought after only at election time
and soon discarded and ignored. It
is time for these truly "Independent" people to have the voice in their government they are entitled to without
the control of any political party which they obviously have rejected in the past. The seeds of this discontent with the Republican Party have been plainly
demonstrated with success by the "Tea Party" movement of Republicans this last year and their power will be seen
by their influence in the Republican Party after this election on November 2, 2010. The time has come for those so called "unattached or Independent
voters to unite as, "we the Independent people of American" and take back control of the government from both political
parties who have proven, through their actions, that they are the cancer in our government that must be removed before
all the American people can be represented in their government by the people and for the people. Political parties should
have no place in the operation of our government, which should operate only for the benefit of all the American people equally
and not for any political party. This
is the time to show your anger and disappointment in the operation of your government since only you can correct this injustice
and disrespect for the American people.
As a starter, at this election, you should rush to the polling place and vote only for the Independent candidates seeking
office and not for either party member as a signal of what is to come at the presidential election of 2012. When the
Independent voter and disgruntled and desperate Democratic and Republican voters join together to vote out all incumbent representatives
in our government and take away the power of political parties in our government we will win. The message should be, "don't blame me, I voted Independent."

THE US LAW OF “DON’T ASK DON’T
TELL” SHOULD BE REPEALED September 20, 2010
Under the administration of President Clinton, congress passed the “Don’t ask, don’t tell”
law, concerning people in the military. This was an ill conceived unconstitutional law that is an insult
to every gay person in the military.
That stated reason for this law, at the time, was the fact that gay persons serving in the military and the government
would be compromised and abused if it was disclosed they were gay. Aside from the constitutionality of
this law is the fact that gay people, these days, feel much better about themselves, if they openly disclose they are gay,
than to keep it an undisclosed secret. The law, in and of itself, is an insult to them as a service
member, who has served as well and died, as anyone else in the service of our country.
It is time that everyone realizes being gay is genetic and, that in spite of many religious teachings, it is something
that cannot willfully be changed.
If this law applies to service people, it should also be applied to every person working in and for the US government,
including elected officials. However, even that act would not make it constitutional under the 14th
amendment. Since this law
was passed, unfortunately, too many brave service people have had their lives and reputations ruined because of its enforcement
and it must be stopped for that reason alone.
No one has the right to pick out a certain set of individuals and illegally subject them to embarrassment and ridicule,
especially by the passage of an unconstitutional law! Every American has the right and duty, to serve their
country as long as they are of good moral character and experience, while homosexuality cannot be a test of a loyal, worthy
American. That is the
reason, this pending law in congress repealing the “Don’t ask don’t tell,” should be passed without
delay.

October 11, 2010 Dear
president Barack Obama, We applaud you for vetoing that legislation passed
by congress that attempted to bail out banks that may have legally screwed up their mortgage foreclosure procedures. It is no wonder congress is held in such low repute when they rush to aid
banking institutions, at the cost of the American peoples’ rights under such mortgage contracts. Are
political contributions of money to congress so overwhelmingly important that they come up with such help for the banks at
the expense of their constituents? I know you
have programs you have instituted to help the consumer on mortgage problems but only a few banks have taken advantage of it.
This may be caused by the downward trend of real estate values and the uncertainty of such values in
this troubled economy. With such volatility in the real estate market, the risk to lending
institutions is increased and, as a result, they are reluctant to invest in this market, especially after the bust of 2008. Now that some big banks have voluntarily suspended their foreclosure procedures,
this may be the opportunity for you to step in and solve this foreclosure problem which keeps depressing real estate values
and prevents the comeback of the construction industry in this field, which accounts for 25% of the unemployment figures in
the country. We suggest the following:
1. While this moratorium is in place, meet with
the major lenders and mortgage holders to convince them to stop most of their foreclosures permanently, by doing the following
to save them money and time and relieve the foreclosure and bankruptcy courts of cost and overload of work to process these
cases. Abandoned homes are a large blight in the community and are often vandalized causing their value
to drop dramatically. The banks usually bear this cost since most defaulting owners are also judgment proof.
. . 2. Banks
should have their lawyers or managers meet with each delinquent mortgagor and give them a chance to remain in their homes
or businesses by offering to reduce their mortgage balance to an amount no higher than its agreed fair market value.
Also they may extend the mortgage terms and interest rate to a current percentage depending on the ability of the owner-
mortgagee’s ability to make the monthly payments, for the next five years or so until this recession ends.
This whole process should take no more than 30 to 60 days to resolve and hopefully most foreclosures
will be averted.
3. Of course the banks may lose that
principle between the mortgage balance and the fair market value of the property, initially, but will save the cost of foreclosure
preparations, attorneys and auctioneer fees, court costs and the likelihood that the property at auction after a three to
six months process delay, will fetch only about 75 percent of its fair market value at a forced auction sale.
All the while, the total cost of the foreclosure costs, are estimated to add an average of an additional 20 percent.
4.
This plan will keep the property owner in their property on the basis of a monthly
payment they can afford while the bank saves the time and cost of about 20 percent of the value for foreclosure costs
which on average will cover the cost of the principle mortgage reduction plan to a fair market value
figure. The court system is spared the cost and time of foreclosures and in many cases, bankruptcy proceedings.
5. With the constant spiraling
down of real estate values stopped and values leveling off banks can be assured the real estate market will become stable
again and the lending climate will return to the market. At the same time, when value of real estate
stabilizes the construction field will be able to return to work since the demand for foreclosed real estate will end and
the demand for new homes and buildings will return to this country and 25 percent of the unemployed will be back to work,
as the economy recovers.
6. Unless and until, most foreclosures are stopped the real estate
market values will continue to drop because of the excess of supply and the construction field cannot step in and employ the
unemployed until the demand for new homes and buildings returns and the
oversupply of existing real estate for sale ends.
It is time for the government bank examiners to take a good hard look at what they are causing when they push banks
to foreclose on delinquent loans. They are doing their job, we admit, but they are causing the economic
problems to deepen in this field when a solution to reverse this trend is vitally necessary at this time.
President Roosevelt used the government “home owner’s loan corporation” to solve this problem in
the 1930’s depression, I was there and it worked then, when we were worse off. Now, we need a similar
solution and desperately. Thanks you for this opportunity to be heard on this matter.

WHEN THE SHIP IS SINKING, THE COWARDS DESERT THE SHIP September 30, 2010 Dear American voter: Recently,
word was received from the White House, that Secretary of Defense Gates is leaving his post at the end of the year.
This man, who has served this Nation in many important capacities over the years, with dignity and honor, in both Republican
and Democratic administrations, is finally throwing in the towel because the Obama administration only knows how to act politically
and not in the best interests of the country and the American people. We were surprised to hear that Rahm Israel Emanual, Obama's closest confidant
and Chief of Staff, is leaving the White House to run for Mayor of Chicago. Frankly, I was surprised and hopeful, he
would have quit sooner. He and David Axelrod were the pair of political strategists responsible for fooling the American
people into voting for the neophyte Obama as our President in 2008. When I look at these two characters together, I
am reminded of Mutt and Jeff of the comic strips, who at least were entertaining, and Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, consoment
entertainers, who made us, feel we had superior intelligence, while we laughed at their stupid antics. They both may
have some resemblance to the two duos, but they have acted like doom and gloom on the White House staff, which was no place
for political strategy after the election. Emanual has always reminded me of "Uncle Fester," of the, Addams
Family, TV show, with his ominous, deep set, dark, gloomy eyes. Soon, he will be back in Chicago, his home town and
that of Al Capone and Bugsy Moran, where he belongs. And where, it is told, a Mayor named Daley delivered the necessary votes
to a Presidential candidate named Kennedy and, where a recently deposed Governor is accused of selling, a U.S. Senate seat.
By running for Mayor of Chicago, Emanual has proven he only cares about himself, just like Obama, who only cared to further
his political ambitions. There is no question that these two partners in politics had
engineered a coup and takeover of the Democratic Party and with the help of a government funded Acorn, registered more people
who voted for Obama, than any previous Presidential candidate. They were in a position to raise more
money for the campaign than any other candidate, using lobbyists to shake down big money from corporate contributors while
claiming they were picking up nickels and dimes from voters on the internet posing as Obama, the savior, and his disciples. Unfortunately, as chiefs of staff in the White
House they have forgotten, the election was over and now was the time to serve the American people as a sitting President
needs to do, especially in such dire times. Instead, everything these two duds have done and advised the
President to do, has been purely politically motivated and not how can we help the American people out of this economic mess
which worsens by the day. The bigger and most unfortunate, mistake was that President Obama, smart and intelligent as
he is, has followed their orders like an obedient puppy dog. Fortunately, after nearly two years of mismanagement of
the office of the Presidency, Obama took a good hard look at his popularity polls, and is finally giving them the boot out
of the White House where they never belonged, and by year's end they will be gone, but too late to save Obama's Presidency,
which was their sole concern. The American people put all their faith and trust in Obama to act
quickly as he promised to fix the economy and put the laid off Americans back to work. In nearly two years, he has failed
to help the American people and now they have lost faith in him and in fact, have become disgusted, discouraged and desperate
for help. All his good looks, intelligence, sweet talk and glib promises have worn off to expose a young, intelligent
and affable person whose feet are too small for the shoes of the Presidency and his Harvard head, too big for the task of
a President. This is very unfortunate for him, but a tragedy for the country he has led to disaster, like the Pied Piper,
in less than two years.
